The Quest (2022)
Don't Expect the Original
For those of you that keep comparing this to the original, you will keep being disappointed by the fact that it isn't equal to its predecessor.
It will never be better or equal to original but that does not mean that it is not worth watching.
The acting is phenomenal, the makeup is incredible and the special effect are state of the art and the storyline reminds me of the Witcher.
Stop comparing it to something that it will never be.
This is a reinvention of something classic that happened 8 years ago.
Move with the times people.
There was alot of work, effort and care that went into this show and it shouldn't be based as heavily as it has been on this app.
Give it a chance, get lost in the story, enjoy the tension and Lord of the Rings like battles.
If it's not your cup of tea go rewatch the original after all nobody is making you watch this.
TV is for your pleasure alone so enjoy yourself elsewhere if you keep comparing it to some blast from the past.
Pinokkio. Pravdivaya istoriya (2021)
The parents guide is way off mark!
I noticed that the parents guide here on IMDb says that all the content of this movie is severe!
I saw nothing sexual, drug related nor was there any profanity in this movie and even watched the English dubbed version of it.
I don't know what version these other users watched but all I got from this movie was creepy Russian vibe but it was entertaining.
Please do not read the parents guide and just watch the movie yourself so you can come to your own conclusions.
Be careful if children are present.
It may be frightening to children her who are sensitive to creepy movies.
Barney's Great Adventure (1998)
Entertaining and Enjoyable
I decided to take stroll down memory lane and watch this movie.
I loved this movie as a little girl and I remember going to thrift shops and begging my grandmother to buy it for me on VHS.
I think this is a charming little movie.
The dialogue is crisp and fresh and the lines are delivered in a believable way.
It love how it captures the magic of Barney but at the same time keep a firm hold on reality.
I appreciate how Cody is a realistic portrayal of a young man who is at war with his inner child.
Althought Cody's reaction to Barney seems rather harsh at first it's understandable and relatable that he has his doubts.
I think it's refreshing to see a character who has a negative and criticism view on Barney.
I love how Barney handles his sarcasm.
Barney is one of those magical characters that somehow keeps warming your heart.
He makes you smile and laugh at how cheesy and cheery he is.
You just want to believe he exists.
I think it's a magical movie that is vastly underrated.
I know it's a kids movie that most want scream and throw things at but before you bash Barney remember you were a child once before.
Barney is a perfect example of unconditional love.
The kind of love that many of us were not given as children.
Love your inner child and Barney will be there too.
Psalty's Salvation Celebration (1992)
I was 4 years old when I saw this
I don't have anything negative to say about Psalty.
I didn't need therapy but instead I watched these Psalty VHS tapes over and over.
Then years later I rewatched these videos on You Tube and then it was then decided to be baptized.
These movies made praising Jesus fun and I saw God as someone loving and approachable.
This was a precious time in my childhood so whenever I watch Psalty I am reminded of that innocent child that loved God and his son Jesus.
Oh by the way one of reviewers may have been a quite but confused which movie this is.
There was no attic, there was risky rat, who actually a representation of the devil.
However Risky Rat does appear in a earlier movie called Praise 4.
It's only in this movie that he has a actual sense of humor.
Yes I was mildly creeped out by that Rat but he made me laugh.
Whenever I was scared or creeped out as a child it just made me love it more.
I mean who doesn't like a creepy villain?
I think what's creepy and scary may depend on the child and depending on how that parent views as suitable for that child.
All I see is kids having fun.
The Other Side of the Mirror (2016)
A underrated Masterpiece
I know this film may seem mediocre and a bit slow but I assure that it is worth watching to the end.
I think the reason the ratings are so low is because nearly everyone was expecting a dreamy fairy-tale.
This movie is dark, disturbing and more closely aligned with reality.
Reality is no fairy tale and even if this were a fairy tale, all fairy tales have a dark disturbing quality to them
I loved this movie for it's simplicity and honesty.
It may not be a mainstream movie but it is artistic masterpiece in its own right.
Give this movie a chance and please don't listen to these negative reviews.
