Arrow: Eleven-Fifty-Nine (2016)
Why is she dead?
The death in this episode hit me hard. I was not expecting the outcome for this character. Laural Lance, AKA Black Canary decides to take the DA job and fight one last time along side her team, Green Arrow, Speedy, and Diggle. Damien Dark has taken over the prison and is helped by Andy, Diggle's brother, who was supposed to be on there side. The Arrow shoots an arrow at Darhk who catches and uses it to kill Laurel. I knew something was going to happen when she was going to put on her mask "one last time" but not to her. I felt Laurel was in the clear because I saw many more future episodes listed next to her name after this one so how can she be dead!
Grey's Anatomy: Everything Has Changed (2022)
It's Back!
I loved that this episode was like the 1st episode of Season 1. It was one the best ones I've seen in the past few seasons. I can't wait to see how the new interns develop and hope they're relationships are as epic, if not more than the original new interns. I have been big and loyal fan since it aired on March.27 2005 and plan to stay that way but it was great to have that renewed sense of excitement and anticipation for next episode. There are a lot of medical series that I watch but this like ER is the one that will always be my favorite. I like that new Seasons are still coming and don't see a reason that it should end. Keep them coming.
Kingdom: Lie Down in the Light (2017)
From Beginning To End
This series had some great characters like Jay, Keith, Alvey, and Nate. The first two seasons were great so I had high expectations for the third. The first 8 episodes were all over the place and it didn't seem the series could end in the last two. The last episode renewed my love for the show, it left me wanting to know what was next. I balled my eyes out from the end of episode 9 and into the end of episode 10. Although Alvey was such a terrible father and had the worst personality, he loved his sons and I think he tried to be better in his own way. I don't think he deserved to be blamed for Nate's death. You could see he did blame himself and the pain of loosing Nate throughout this whole episode. The last image seen was of a defeated man who would never have anything good in his life.
Superstore: All Sales Final (2021)
Goodbye Cloud Nine
Finally a happy ending. It was a great ending to a funny show with great characters. It left you feeling full. I love how they all stayed together in some way. I'll miss looking forward to watching new episodes but I think it was the right time to end the show. I'll definitely be watching the whole series again.
Grimm: The End (2017)
Disappointing
This episode did not do the series justice. It seemed rushed and just thrown together. The whole idea of the stick throughout season 6 was senseless. It was like the writers gave up. I was expecting a far more creative and interesting story about the keys. The last 10 minutes felt like a scene from Wizard of Oz where Dorothy wakes up in her bed and tells her family about being in a different place. Having all the main characters die gave me the sense that they would all come back in the end. I mean every great ending unfortunately has a significant death but this was jut too unbelievable. I would have liked to have seen all of the main characters in the 20 years from now scene. I just felt cheated from what should of been an ending I would talk about for days.
Legacies: Salvatore: The Musical! (2021)
Better than I was expecting
I thought to myself "great another musical" but after watching this episode, this is the best one I've seen on a series. Well thought out and a strong conclusion to Vampire Diaries.
Party of Five: Pilot (2020)
Tear Jerker
I am a big fan of the original Party of Five and did not expect for the remake to compare. I'm hooked and this version has exceeded my expectations. Although my parents were not deported, they came to the United States from Colombia in 1970 and faced many struggles and racism. I found this first episode to show me the devastation of deportation. It was very difficult to see how the family was treated, especially the kids when the parents were taken away.
9-1-1: Malfunction (2019)
Poor Hen
Hen's reaction to the accident is so heartbreaking. I also felt bad for the victim who tragically lost her life. I can only imagine how Hen will ever be able to forgive herself.
Riverdale: Chapter Fifty-Eight: In Memoriam (2019)
Heartfelt Tribute
This episode was so well done. You could see the cast was truly sadden by Fred/Luke Perry's death. It did not seem like a script but rather a final farewell to Luke Perry. I think Fred and Luke were one in the same. This was an emotional and honorable tribute to Luke Perry. The appearance by Shannen Doherty and the welcome home celebration by the community and Archie's expression while driving says alot about how the cast and crew felt about Luke Perry. I was deeply touched by this dedication. May you rest peacefully Luke Perry🙏🏼
Supernatural: Moriah (2019)
Jaw Dropping
I have been watching all the seasons this summer and finally finished episode 20 of Season 14. It was intense and I think it topped all the other episodes of this series!!!! I was on the edge of my seat the last 15 minutes of the episode 😱I'm so ready to watch the last Season on October 10🤘🏼
