The Vow (2020)
Somewhat entertaining from a trash tv perspective
I really can't stress this enough, this documentary is the epitome of victim culture lack of personal accountability and responsibility. People in this world will try to screw you (figuratively and literally), it's up to you to make good decisions to not get screwed (unless you're wanting to get screwed). But, if you make bad decisions and get screwed, you learn from your mistakes, and get wiser. As opposed to crying victimhood for decisions you consented to. When you choose to cry victimhood, you're way more likely to get screwed again by someone else with bad intentions. It's the person that takes responsibility and learns that rarely gets screwed again.
Oh also, the opening song is so bad, I actually thought it was some type of parody song in the credits of the first episode.
The Dropout (2022)
Makes Me Wonder
This series has made me wonder if it's possible the real Elizabeth was this incredibly stupid. Amanda did a great job and I don't mean that in any way as a slight against her acting, it's just hard to believe anybody could be as stupid as Elizabeth is in this series. The show is slow at times, but definitely good nonetheless.
American Horror Stories: Dollhouse (2022)
Loved it .... till the end
To elaborate on my review title, I loved every bit of it until the end. The dollhouse thing was creepy, the kid was good and creepy, I liked the main star, I liked the whole concept. I remember thinking, can't wait to see how they wrap this up. Then, it got stupid, really stupid. Witches come in from out of nowhere with some BS and lazy excuses of "we could barely feel your spells". Absolutely no set up to those characters. Just , poof witches. Might as well just had a vampire come save her. Or, Godzilla, or any damn thing out of nowhere. Going to the witches well again is also kinda lazy, but I get it, the fans love the witches. I would have been fine with going to the witches well again if it had been set up better, but it was just done in the most unimaginative and lazy way possible.
How I Met Your Father: Rivka Rebel (2022)
Glamorizing drug use, how cool!!!
Noting better than virtue signaling while glorifying drug use. It's not like OD's are at record highs. So glad this show has its priorities in order. Oh, and the beyond stupid jokes are a highlight also. I see this show has a potential second season..... seriously..... how???!!!!
How I Met Your Father: The Good Mom (2022)
Seriously, how's it so bad?!
Because I loved HIMYM so much I'm willing to
try to make it through the first season, hoping it'll some how improve; but it seems to only be getting worse. It truly is everything bad about sitcoms. All the general criticisms of sitcoms are compiled into this one show. So, I guess that's pretty impressive.
How I Met Your Father (2022)
I wonder how ashamed the cast of HIMYM feel
Very much stupid sitcom humor. Not a fan. The Narration is terrible. Way cheesier than when it was Bob Sagat. Lots of complaints from other reviewers about the wokisms, it's not the diverse cast that's the problem, it's how forced it feels. Painful show. Totally missing any of the cleverness of HIMYM, that's the biggest shame of this show. Also, on a personal gripe, I'm tired of sitcom's having this weird delusional glorification of New York. Contrary to sitcoms, there are actually some other great cities in the USA.
The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (2022)
Could have been titled Drunk Veronica Mars
Wasn't this supposed to be a comedy? I guess the last episode was a comedy, but the rest was just a mystery with with bad excuses for comedy. What they seemed to pass off for comedy in the first eight episodes was actually just stupid writing. But not traditional spoof movie stupidity, more like stupidity where you can't tell if it is a joke or bad writing.
And Just Like That... (2021)
Do you think HBO is actually trying to suck?
HBO used to be filled with shows that were interesting, funny, thought-provoking, or just outright entertaining; currently, it seems like all the shows are woke messages with a thinly veiled plot on top of them. Four net worth that I used to look to for creative material, nowadays it's just trash.
