Losing Hope
How did the Medical "Doctors" in this episode not realize that this ten year old boy had the average correct beats per minute for heart rate of a ten year old boy? There's a flash of 90 bpm and his main physician says "His heart rate is a little high." Later we see 103 bpm and his heart rate is considered really elevated. 10 year old children should have a heart rate between 90 and 110 bpm. The smaller something is the more often its heart races, we see this basic knowledge in our everyday life.
This ignorance in knowledge makes you wonder how the main mathematical professor character could even be smart, he can only be as intelligent as the writers, directors and editors behind it. I was hoping this series would go somewhere compelling, but it's quickly deflating...
