I don't know why this movie has taken such a hit or lack of interest. I rented it one day for my 4 year old, and we wound up watching about 20 times in a week! She absolutely loves the movie, and tells me all the time that it is her favorite. It is totally appropriate for kids, no foul language and the humor is cute for adults as well. The story line was very well done, and entertaining. The constant bickering back and forth between Screwy (ball) and Darlin' (bat) was very comical as well. Naturally the kid is going to be successful as being the hero, but the stuff he had to go thru along the way kept me interested also. Being a lifelong baseball fan and coach, the fact that finally someone involved the Negro Leagues was great to see. Yes, everyone was happy and fuzzy and no racial issues in the movie, but it is an animated kids movie. I keep reading how people had a problem with this movie not addressing the racial issues of the time, but it is a kids movie! Overall, I thought this was a very underrated movie and it is very entertaining. My wife even loves this movie! I have since purchased this movie on DVD and I'm sure we will get more than our money's worth. I gave it a 10 because is a very good movie and it hasn't gotten old yet. Forget the naysayers and see this movie and decide for yourself.

I can't understand what everyone is fussing about this film for. I saw it on the IMAX 3D and I honestly thought it was hilarious. I caught myself laughing out loud on many occasions. Seriously, this film is not "violent" by any means. To me, I really felt relieved to see some humor and scenes similar to the old Looney Tunes cartoons that used to be considered great, but are now considered evil and horrible.
I took my 4 year old daughter to see this movie as well, and she absolutely loved it. I have no reservations about any of the content in this movie, and I would highly recommend it to anyone with children. Any of the "adult" humor was tastefully done and, honestly how many small kids are gonna pick up it? The animation was well done, the cast was great, and there were some very creative action scenes in this movie. I wish all of these politically correct hypocrites would stop trying to psychoanalyze every damn film that comes out and bash it into the ground! Bottom line: This movie is outstanding, and it is incredibly funny!!!! GO SEE IT!

Incredible concert DVD

I saw this concert live in Little Rock Arkansas and was absolutely blown away with their performance and stage production! As soon as I heard they were releasing a concert DVD, I circled the date on my calender. If you are a Motley Crue fan, this DVD is a must own. This DVD captures why the boys from Motley Crue are the true "bad asses" of rock and roll. I just put it in the DVD/computer all the time and let it play. I wish other bands would watch this show and step up their stage productions. Motley Crue sets the standard for live performance. buy this! I look forward to seeing them live again next year. I might actually spend the 400 bucks and get the platinum seats. It's truly that good.
