The Flight Attendant (2020)
Stay for Season 2! Episode 6! Authentic alcoholic family!
I liked Season 1 and then almost didn't watch Season 2 because of the reviews here. Fortunately my daughter said she thought I'd like the Sharon Stone episode so I gave it a shot. OMG the episodes in Season 2 kept getting better and better until I was blown away by episode 6. I completely disagree that the cutaways are distracting. I have never seen depicted so accurately in screen what goes on in an addicts head. The night of relapse and the drunk dialing is spot on! Can't say enough about the writing either. Character diversity is great too without the LBGTQ aspect being preachy or heavy handed like in so many other series today.
And as for the Sharon Stone episode WOW! ( sidebar was Sharon Stone channeling Kaitlyn Jenner or is it just me?). It was written so well and the acting was amazing. I had to pause to process. Crying. Yes mothers are that mean and this type of dialogue is exactly what I'd hear if I were ever misguided enough to try and make amends with mine. The BB says to make amends " unless to do so would hurt them or others" and often the one that could get hurt is you.
Thank you for an honest scene that respects what really goes on in an alcoholic family.

Give Michael his own show!
This show is so uplifting and hilarious and sweet. The casting is amazing. I especially love Michael and his mom. He needs his own talk show.
Bo Burnham: Inside (2021)
We Need Artists like Bo!
Nothing but gratitude for the creative and artistic energy that went into this amazing montage of music, comedy, commentary and creative self expression.
2020 doesn't seem like a total waste after all if it inspired this talented artist to create a piece like this and then share it with us!!
Laughed out loud at the intermission moment.
SmartLess (2020)
Thanks! I needed this!
I was searching Youtube late one night and found a trailer for this podcast that had me laughing out loud. The 4 episodes I've listened to so far have been hysterical. I love the way Will, Jason, and Sean make fun of each other relentlessly. There is such genuine love there that the teasing reminds me of the fun I used to have with friends when I was a kid.
This podcast has helped me feel less alone during this horrible year of isolation. The guys have made me feel like I'm at the party too! Mad respect for their consistent "Yes Anding" of each others bits. The comedic generosity is refreshing and so needed right now.
American Son (2019)
Amazing dialogue with all POV's addressed
A great script, that flows like a classic play, combined with amazing actors! All sides of so many difficult and personal issues are thoughtfully and powerfully expressed. This piece has elevated my soul as I sit here crying my eyes out broken hearted.
