Blindspot (2015)
Entertaining, predictable, very cliché, excellent as background noise
I remember when I saw the advertising for this new series that would be released back in 2015. I thought the plot was great! A tattooed girl in the middle of Time Square?! I just wanted to see what they had to tell me.
The series is super light, most of the performances are great, with the exception of the male protagonist, who very much in the style of "rude white man who doesn't think before acting, who makes the worst decisions to keep just one person alive" reminds me to Rick from TWD, obnoxious. But well, ignoring that, as the seasons go by the other characters take more prominence and become very strong and lovable: Tasha, Patterson, Rich Dotcom, Reade...
The dynamics of the episodes are very predictable, one bad thing after another but which they miraculously get around, and the script is redundant and repetitive, the same conflicts always, especially between Jean and Kurt, which end up boring. But characters like Rich make you forget quickly.
See her? Yes, totally, it is entertaining to leave it running in the background while you do the cleaning or cooking... if you miss something, nothing happens, things repeat themselves a thousand times more :)
¡Que viva México! (2023)
an eternal problem of script and direction
Unfortunately it is a waste of time. 3 hours where only the first 40 minutes make you laugh slightly. From then on the movie is meaningless! The acting is good, the cast is good. But the script and direction are terrible. Of the things that bothered me the most were the stereotypes of the Mexican people, the stereotypes that Americans have about Mexico.
They were able to condense the idea, this movie should not last more than 70 minutes. There was no coherent plot, terribly tedious editing.
Don't waste your time watching it. There are better Mexican movies, please choose other film!
Thankyou for read.
