Perry Mason (2020)
Absolutely fabulous
Such a fantastic story and the production values are sky high, cinematic photography and realistic characters and scenes. A must-watch in our household.
Escape Into Night (1972)
The scariest TV EVER
Never mind The Exorcist, just thinking of this programme today I, a grown up woman in her 50s, get wobbly knees and dread in my stomach. I seem to remember it made me cry when I watched it at age 7-ish. I really don't think I'm up to watching it again.
Ghosts (2019)
Love it
I just LOVE this, such a good giggle and I'm hoping so much that we get a second series. I'd love to know more about the ghosts' back stories, as was done with Mike. WHY is Kitty so needy?!? It's so warmly funny and raised a tear in quite a few places. I certainly look at the moon more now thanks to Robin. Lots of reviewers cite "Rentaghost" but I'm even older. Anyone remember "The Ghosts of Motley Hall" in the 70s?. It's very like these two but done for grown ups, and very well done it is. To coin a phrase - more please BBC!

READ THE BOOK!
Honestly one of my favourite books and while I know that adaptation must be made for the screen, the characters and story are absolutely mangled and it makes me sad. It uses the characters to tell a different story. Bravo to the casting directors though, the actors are spot on but the story is all wrong.
