Modern Family (2009–2020)
9/10
Despite it's flaws, still one of my favorites currently
15 February 2016
This show is about 3 linked families - patriarch Jay (Ed O'Neill), his young and beautiful second wife, Gloria (Sofia Vergara), her son, Manny (Rico Rodriguez), and following that is Claire (Julie Bowen), Jay's daughter from his first marriage, Phil (Ty Burrell), her husband, and their 3 children Haley (Sarah Hyland), Alex (Ariel Winter) and Luke (Nolan Gould). There's also Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), Claire's brother, his husband, Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and their adopted daughter, Lily (Sorry, Idk who plays Lily). I'll start out with my favorite characters: Phil - I honestly love Phil. Even though he's a little goofy and somewhat dim, he's one of the nicest people you can imagine, exactly the kind of person I wish I knew. He tries so hard to be accepted, despite being kind of a geek (but a lovable one).

Jay - Jay reminds me of my dad - seems a bit obnoxious at first, but he cares deeply for his family and will do anything for them.

Mitchell - he's a bit bossy but he has some of the funniest lines.

Manny - he's an odd mix between Joey and Ross from Friends - like Ross, he's smart but terrible with social situations and is very kind. But, like Joey, he's obsessed with women and is something of a womanizer. His advice is often terrible but he's willing to do what he can to help out.

Andy - The male nanny and Haley's new boyfriend. Like Phil, he's one of the nicest people you know, and he cares about everyone around him to eternity.

Characters I feel indifferent about: Alex - I like Alex, but she's a bit of a smarta*s. Normally, I think that's kind of funny, but she should tone it down just a little.

Luke - he's okay. He's like Phil, but less nice (he's not mean, per se, but he's not as cuddly and loving as his dad). Sometimes he makes me laugh though.

Cam - he's very loving but also dramatic and over the top, and he tends to overreact in pretty much every situation. He does have his moments.

Haley - She's kind of spoiled, but sometimes she shows moments of caring. Plus, she's hot (give me a break, I'm 16!) Characters I hate: Claire - she's selfish, arrogant, and just plain mean-spirited. She's even bossier than Mitchell, and she's almost always mean to everyone, often for no reason. She also has to prove she's right about everything, and is often willing to destroy something important to Phil or the kids. She doesn't deserve any of the things she has, and I wish Phil would leave her. One time, she spied on the kids, and they all got mad at her and she told them to suck it up and that's what parents do, when she had no right to be angry at all and no one in real life would tolerate that kind of unacceptable behavior. (before I get attacked, let me just say that I have nothing against Julie Bowen, she seems very nice and is a great actress, I just really hate Claire) Pepper - Cam and Mitchell's other homosexual friend. He's incredibly obnoxious, whiny, and rude. He can't take it when things don't go his way, and he's even more dramatic than Cam. Honestly, why are they even friends with him?!?

Danny Phantom (2003–2007)
10/10
It's somewhat like a family-oriented version of South Park (but with Superheroes)
19 January 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I'm almost 17 and I gotta admit - this is a great show! The jokes and dialouge are sarcastic and funny without going too far. But as I said before, it's a little like South Park, as are the Characters. Danny's the Stan of the group. He honestly is a lot like Stan. He's funny, kind, a bit cynical (but more subtle than Stan), and even though he's smart, he's a little lazy and he's not great in social situations. Doesn't give the best advice but is willing to drop everything to help out someone in need right away. Tucker would be the Kyle of the group. He's the one who gets ridiculed but still remains loyal and steadfast to those who need him. Sam... I dunno, possibly Kenny. Vlad would be the Cartman, sort of. He's evil, knows what he wants, and knows how to get it, just like Cartman. However, Cartman is a racist anti-semite, meanwhile Vlad is just a creep. All in all, a great show to watch when you've got some free time!

Would be great if it weren't for Reef!
12 January 2016
I started watching the show because I was a fan of 6teen and I figured it would be good. They did a good job of making the show (and characters) similar, for the most part anyway. Of course, they had to make Reef overly confident like Jonesy, but the thing is Reef goes too far. Jonesy is sexist and obnoxious, but I like him. Reef is like that but worse and far stupider, to a point where he makes Jonesy look smart. Jonesy is a jackass but he has redeeming qualities, like he stands up for his friends when others punk them down. Reef does not do that. And he's more than a jackass, he's a total asshole. And his hair looks really stupid, as if it was struck by lightning. If he died in the show, I might watch it again!

iCarly: iMeet Fred (2009)
Season 2, Episode 10
1/10
This is just so asinine!
26 August 2015
So, the episode shows the Carly, Sam and Freddie watching some guy named "Fred" who has a really high voice and is annoying as hell. All of them (except for Freddie) laughed, and they wondered why he wasn't laughing, then he said it was because he didn't find it funny. Soon, Fred sends a video to Freddie saying that he was never ever gonna make a video again (so, in other words, his voice matched his maturity level), then everyone turned against Freddie. That's really dumb, because I'm sure "Fred" gets told he's not funny all the time, so it's really stupid that he stops making videos suddenly because Freddie voiced his opinion. And the stupid thing is, Carly and Sam are supposedly his best friends, and they didn't defend him at all. They sided against him.

Look, Freddie did nothing wrong. He voiced his opinion. He CAN do that, 'ya know?!? And if Carly and Sam were his REAL friends, they would defend him. But instead, they were so concerned with their Web-show which sucks ass anyway, and didn't care about how horribly Freddie was being treated. And Sam beat him with a tennis racked because he still didn't find it funny. It wasn't funny anyway. Some friends they are. Bitches. Seriously, why bother with this terrible show? Why not change the channel to something good, like King of the Hill? I mean, seriously?

iCarly (2007–2012)

I'm gonna KICK YER' ASS!!
26 August 2015
I know I'm a couple years late, but honestly, this has to be the worst show I have ever seen. It's not funny, and it gives kids bad messages. This show is geared towards teens and younger, yet it has a million sexual innuendos (which doesn't surprise me, 'cause the creator is a major pervert). It also teaches kids that beating people up is okay, that talking to strangers is okay, that being narcissistic is okay, I could go on and on. Let me just start out with the characters.

There's Carly, the main character. She is rude, shallow, selfish, overly dramatic, and bossy. She bosses her friends around and even her brother, who's like 28 or 30 or something like that. And one time, she dated this guy (I think his name was Griffin) and found out that he collected this girly toy, made fun of him and didn't care when he said that it was over on account of over-hearing her mocking him to Sam. So, in other words, she's about as shallow as a puddle.

There's Sam, Carly's best friend. She is a bully and has no manners. She always apologizes when it's too late, and is also selfish. She also thinks jail and abusive parents are cool, when in reality, that's far from true. And everyone basically laughs at her for having neglectful parents (well, a neglectful mother, anyway. I haven't heard anything about a dad) and terrible table manners.

Then there's Carly's other friend, Freddie. He's okay, but he's a real pushover. When he said that he didn't think "Fred" was very funny, everyone (including Carly and Sam) held it against him. Not to mention, the fact that that episode is unrealistic in more ways than one. Number 1, I'm sure this "Fred" guy (I don't know his actual name) has people tell him he's not funny all the time, so him being a butt-hurt bitch when Freddie said it, is total B.S. And number 2, Carly and Sam didn't defend him, they cared more about their stupid ass web-cast then their best friend, who was under fire for having an opinion. Sam even beat him with a tennis racket when he didn't want to tell Fred that he was funny. Honestly, this guy has gotta get some new friends. It's unbelievable what he has to put up with from them.

And finally, there's Spencer, Carly's older brother. Like I pointed out earlier, stupid Carly is the tyrant of the house, even though Spencer is an ADULT, not to mention her GUARDIAN. She tells him what to do, and gets mad at him when he doesn't listen. If anything, Spencer should send her to her room and take away her phone for a week for acting the way she does, and that's just me being generous here. Not to mention, he is a freaking idiot. He'll do whatever anyone wants him to. He was willing to drop everything and drive to Fred's house, despite them not having ever met Fred in person before, and Fred living about 90 or so miles away. Plus, he's lit something on fire, like, 20 times. One time, the fire department stopped coming to his house because of it.

That is just the tip of the iceberg. They have all sorts of sexual innuendos too. Like, bras, foot fetishes, dirty words (hobknocker), etc. And what bugs me more than anything is that parents would rather their kids watch iCarly than watch shows like Family Guy, or South Park. While those shows aren't geared towards kids, at least they're not trying to hide that. iCarly, on the other hand, tries to hide that. Plus, despite being dirty, shows like that are actually pretty funny. And a show I would highly recommend over iC**ty is King of The Hill. Funny show, funny characters, funny dialouge, funny everything! And if you don't, Boy, I tell you h'what, your boy ain't right.
