Lmao @ Merica being the good guy "we're doing this to save lives not take them" what wide eyed kid fantasized abt this

Stupidest plot of all time, an octopus just intuitively knows how to operate all digital platforms. Intelligence manifests in more profound ways than to run powerpoint for one of the main characters/narrator okay? Jesus Christ. Wouldn't the super duper sea animals have pulled the trigger before humans have polluted the f out of the ocean to save their dear brethren huh? Why haven't they controlled the illegal dumping of chemicals or destroyed one of Pepsi's bottling plants?

Boomer's take on Zoomers, it's turned into a freak show
25 January 2020
This show has always tried to stay up to date but it's kind of turning into a freak show at this point. Kind of rote and formulaic but in a cringe way...

The Bad Seed (2018 TV Movie)

All because other people's selfishness
16 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I feel bad for Emma. At one point she screamed "I don't want a stepmom EVER!"

I can only assume she's made it clear before. Her dad doesn't care. He will date no matter what. He will hire and keep a sketchy babysitter no matter what. He will pawn his own parenting duties to others no matter what. How GROSS and IRRESPONSIBLE !

Emma is really a good, no-nonsense kid. The central conflict is actually her dad being stupid and dense and wanting to date other women regardless of how his own daughter feels. Poor Emma faced injustice at school, too. Anyone should be infuriated if their school awarded its highest honor to a non-deserving kid. Milo is stupid and cannot even spell. Stupidity is actually not a virtue. The babysitter was annoying and evil. I think everyone was a bad seed except for Emma. Poor girl is so smart and logical and just wants to live in a fair world and study. She reads books and never plays stupid games on her phone or watch stupid YouTube channels (I'm sure that's what Milo does all day). She is so precious. My heart goes out to her. Her aunt seems like a genuinely nice lady, I'm sure they will be happy together. I'm sorry your life was partially ruined by a selfish, stupid man lusting after other women and wanted to kill you. You are a good kid Emma, and you ponder such honest and profound questions. You will understand Nietzsche and Schopenhauer just fine. The adults don't, especially the shrinks, because they themselves are programmed to keep damaged people on track as machines and slaves. You clearly can think for yourself. You fought against injustice and fought for upstanding values. I salute you. Good luck, little girl!

I hate this show so much
28 December 2019
I hate everything about the show. The cliched characters, the predictable plot, the nonstop soliloquy, the lack of soul. They made every character SO RETARDED and UNLIKABLE it's INFURIATING. It honestly is INFURIATING. It's enraging. This is the only emotion I feel regardless of which timestamp I'm on. This show is SO STUPID.

Intolerable
6 October 2019
I'm sorry I want to like this series but it's too hard to watch. This is not entertainment, it's like some torture program I had subjected myself to and I just can't any longer. The main cast all except Lucy Liu is just so excruciating. Sherlock is terrible and his script is so bad it didn't sound clever but forced 90% of time. I can't get over how Mycroft looks like some scrubby shaggy dog! I'm glad this series is finished- even though I'm only on episode 1 of season 3, I don't think I will continue.

Whose house is it anyway?
28 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
3 stars off of the modern timeline . I'm just so confused at this point. Why is Taylor leaving? It's surreal enough that a young couple can afford a McMansion in PALO ALTO in 2019 in the first place, but whose house is it anyway? I thought it's Taylor's? Then why is she leaving? What????????

Why is it a thing
31 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I've previously left a 10/10 review for the series and I'll keep it there. I still think it's a great series. However I'm just confused by the 3rd timeline at this point. It's "now" and I'm supposed to be familiar with it, yet I am not...

Make no mistake, I live in a super diverse metropolis, but for the life of me, I can't figure out: why this is a thing... Open relationships? Threesomes? Social media influencers? This seems to be a phenomenon only observed in certain sub-culture enclaves. In reality, they are extremely fringe (much, much, MUCH rarer than say cheating husbands or gay husbands for that matter). I find it very hard to relate to. The plot has also become scatterbrained at this point. It's just awkward and weird. I thought it'd be cool if it's just the lawyer and her screenwriter boyfriend and they had this fling with someone else, but now she's supposed to actually love this other girl? I just don't see it. & they're going to live together?? It's weirding me out. This timeline has become a freak show at this point.

A Curious thought
23 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is possibly the corniest film of all time. I wish they'd discard all dialogues altogether. Just fight scene after fight scene w/ no more than 3 seconds of transition. If you pay attention you'll see that any scene that is not a fight scene that lasts longer than 3 seconds is TRASH. The only good thing about the whole franchise is action, nothing more. everything else is PURE CRINGE.

A curious thought: What do you think Jeff Bezos' reaction is to some of the premise? Would Bezos get off his couch for a measly 14 mil? Pocket change amirite? A small nothing from the taxes he didn't have to pay. This puts things in perspective. Is 14 mil worthy of all the fuss AROUND THE GLOBE? Hell no. These people are all acting high and mighty when they really are nobodys of the world.

No seriously. It's a scam. Nobody gets the 14 (15) mil. The introduction of the Arab elder of the table was so underwhelming it made me laugh. That little tent from the desert was like the same one they used in Game of Thrones lmao. What the hell man, your servant's servant has nice castles lol.

Oh the film is so cringy and stupid and CORNY. Give up already. Write even less story and focus 99.999% on action. We don't want to see anything else.

Why Women Kill (2019–2021)

Totally new and interesting but also some of that DH vibe
22 August 2019
Desperate Housewives is objectively and to me subjectively one of the best TV series. The writing and scenes and casting are just all so good and beautiful and the stories are funny, heartwarming and captivating at the same time. Sadly it didn't "age" very well- while it captured true tones of its time, a lot has changed & people nowadays view the world from a whole new angle.

And I'm so thrilled that this new angle is captured again! This time bolder by letting the theme traverse through different timelines and the stories connect seamlessly with that DH style storytelling. I just love it. Also the OP, just so fun!

This series is not pandering or insulting at all. It's not pandering to women or insulting men. Marc Cherry doesn't do that. The show's getting spicier but none of the creator's shows is crass or politically motivated, which is so rare nowadays and truly appreciated. They're pure as stories and thoroughly enjoyable. Again, great writing, great casting, I'm hooked!

Why do they have to
21 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Why they gotta kill the butterfly man? The butterfly was so good. It's so sad.

Main character is kind of pointless and useless & I don't know why everyone keeps deferring to him or listening to him- at all.

Also I think we can do without all the kid's plot. I think actual kids would enjoy the film without it, or more. Kid doesn't really add anything. Just screeching and switching to totally different moods every other scene.

MIB is like Harry Potter for black teens. I'm neither but I always enjoyed it. No seriously it's totally one of a kind. One of the most innovative franchises, never disappoints!

Lazy & Lame
31 July 2019
What a lame movie. AND LAZY! How brainwashed do you have to be to look at it as some sort of an art film LMAO. This is the epitome of 21st century trash popcorn films. 100% of this piece of garbage is, well, garbage. Superhero as a genre is a laughing stock.

Make it be like games
20 June 2019
The setup, tropes, archetypes, everything.... predictable, straightforward, doesn't take a single brain cell to process. It's actually incredibly similar to the story line/setup of modern day action/shooter games. If you seen Chapter 1 you know exactly whatchu goin get. I really didn't enjoy it but suppose I'll watch Chapter 3 too.

This show had me .
6 June 2019
It's an important show that deserves all the seriousness in the world. It raises the bar for the industry but just speaking about itself, it is a monument. It's history, fact, memory, humanity and reflection. It's a proper account of a grave incident everyone should know about, and I truly believe it should reach as many people as possible. It really had me.

It's so stupid, so juvenile it's making me angry. The script is so bad, the cast and acting SO ATROCIOUS. Insufferable. I bet even kids don't like this.

the real dissonance
5 June 2019
... is that -

Why would life be otherwise the same when you've got this mad technology?

Why with this technology and infinite possibilities that the idea of marriage and fidelity be the same in the first place ?

I get the main message which is tolerance, it's about letting people indulge in their fantasies- it's not wholly thought out, so this bit just ruins it for me .

Gimmick of Throes
20 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Despite what I'm about to say this is worthy of celebration. Both cancers Big Bang Theory & this have finally died. It's finally over.

I began tallying things I hate not just about the last episode as I watched it but the whole thing, but I lost count. This is one thing I feel most compelled to say:

The actors and actresses and everyone who did not have a say in the direction of this sorry show are not to be blamed; however, the executives, writers, creative directors and people who enjoyed this show are uncouth, uncultured barbarians, and I am not exaggerating given the show's popularity around the world that this is making America look BAD.

No character development at all
17 May 2019
I stopped watching around S4-5 I guess and I just watched the last episode for closure. Can't believe it went on 7 or 8 seasons since, it feels like I haven't missed anything. Just as I thought, Sheldon was oblivious up until the last 5 minutes and everything was same old same old. There was no character development at all. 0 character development.

To those who watch this show for sciency tidbits I want to say, obviously you'll learn a lot more about any given subject by reading a book or even an article. This show like any other is primarily for entertainment and character development is central to entertainment. If every character stays the same and they're totally predictable, where is the entertainment? The ending proved this show was ten fold more "safe" than I initially thought and I'm really glad I stopped wasting my time a long time ago .

( Holy cow I just found out upon reading more reviews that many have stopped watching around the same seasons, speaks for itself )

I bet the vibe is different. If you're going for realism the language is also essential. Maybe it's too much to ask - is it? My only complaint - albeit a big one and it bothers me.

Which brainiac came up with this .
7 May 2019
Imagine pouring money into this production. Imagine going along with the script. Imagine working on the set.

H'what kind of bubble these brainiacs are living in rn?

What have they reduced the world to?

This is the greatest insult to TV audience I've ever seen, and I just watched 4 of the last episodes of GOT.

6 May 2019
It's just funny at this point. I'm not angry that the show is "declining" at all. The show has never been good. From S01E01. I was forced to watch the whole thing because it aired when I was in college and I caved in to peer pressure, and by the time I graduated I caved in again to sunk cost. I'm sure when everything is wrapping up people will go back and find faults with previous seasons and discover that it's been bad & the plot porous all along. Good. I did walk away from this with an important lesson though. I will never cave into peer pressure again, for sure.
