The Flash: Into the Void (2019)
Screw science
This is a *fantasy* show about a superhero who can run faster than the speed of light, yes I get it. But this is getting ridiculous.
A black hole that selectively sucks one car, one man and one mail box into it? Whilst everything else remains intact? What happened to the sanctity of the event horizon. It's a black hole, not a giant vaccuum cleaner.
The Flash: Legacy (2019)
The worst finale episode till date
I thought that nothing could be worse than season 4's finale, but the writers have proven me wrong.
I am curious why a change in the past would take effect at a particular point in time in the future. Time travel doesn't work that way, in any world or multiverse. Ugh.
The acting is oh so awful. Once again, I thought Cicada had the worst dialog delivery I have ever seen (an actor who thinks talking with clenched teeth makes a good villain), but Cicada 2.0's acting is abysmal.
Why Nora, who is most definitely at least 25 years old, acts like a 13-year old, constantly whining and throwing temper tantrums is beyond me.
Most of this show is just fluff, with the actual plot is enough to fill 8-10 episodes. They need to dump this 22 episode format quick, and take a few tips from superior TV making (Sherlock, Black Mirror, The OA, The Umbrella Academy, Russian Doll, The Haunting of Hill House, take your pick).
I stuck through season 4 and 5, but I think it is now time to dump this show. A pity, since I liked the first 2 seasons.
I'll Take Your Dead (2018)
Boring and uneventful. Don't waste your time.
This movie is not a horror movie. It is barely a movie. Most of the dialogue is pointless, the plot is weak, and what feels like a build-up turns out to be the entire movie. The "ghosts" are never really explained, and their existence feels tangential to the rest of the movie.
Note: I saw this movie because of a review (which in hindsight was clearly fake) titled "Movie Review: "I'll Take Your Dead" is Haunting, Horrific and Riveting" by treespaz.
