The Crowded Room (2023)
Absolutely brilliant
Probably one of the best things I've watched in a long time!!! I knew something was happening in the storyline and the characters but didn't quite expect the reality. The twists and turns just kept coming!!
Absolutely amazing characters and plot. Brilliant acting by Tom Holland who is a long way from the goofy kid in Spider-Man. His strength that came through was solid and gave a powerful performance.
The reality of the situation was dark and horrific and unfortunately real for so many. Gave me a new perspective for sure. Definitely not to be missed and ignore the other critics I don't know how anyone could say it wasn't brilliant!
9-1-1 (2018)
So overacted
Oh dear such terrible acting and over dramatic it's almost laughable. Predictably pathetic story lines. It seems the characters have all the emergency services on their side and team only.
Kudiye Lahore Diye (2019)
Turn the volume down on this one !
I can't believe I sat through this movie given the cast was good. Awful storyline that could have gone down a better angle. Not sure why there was so much shouting and yelling - wasn't funny at all.
Attack (2022)
Wowza !
Loved this fresh look for Bollywood instead of tired old re-run stories. Yes it's inspired by Hollywood movies - so what most are. Smacks of Universal Soldier, Olympus Has Fallen & Robocop. Great acting by John Abraham with some high tech action scenes. Add a dash of thriller & suspense this movie was a really enjoyable action movie. Well done can't wait for Part 2!
Daana Paani (2018)
Wow the best movie I've seen in so long
Such a well made movie. Heartwarming and touching story on so many levels. A lovely family drama pulling on the heartstrings with beautiful songs to match the sentiments. Cried my eyes out.
For Colored Girls (2010)
Powerful & empowering
This movie was like watching the hideous acts of humans as visual poetry. Creative, artistic, poetic, powerfully enacted by some amazing black leads 🖤
Four More Shots Please! (2019)
Totally loved it!!
Loved the actors. Loved that finally there's a liberating modern Indian series with women being themselves. Feminism is totally about owning every part of being a woman including gender roles, sex, sexuality and all the things that have made being an Indian woman taboo. The western world won't even get this at all - looking forward to the next series !
