Gotham: Welcome Back, Jim Gordon (2015)
Worst episode to date
I love this show, but this episode and how Fish and Butch get away is way to easy. I mean utterly stupid. At least make it interesting. i wanted to shut it off 12 minutes into the episode. But i finished it. It was bad towards the end as well. How they want to keep Fish alive :(... Victor and his 3 assistants cant hit Butch at all, then all a sudden Victor can shoot Butches knee cap out from even further away than b4.
There was good parts to the episode, that's why i gave it a 3-star. might have been worth a 4-star. but this shows been great, anything 6 or under is sad. Anything 4 or under is a shame.
John Wick (2014)
Wick Not As Bad A$$ As He's Made Out To Be
Most people have touched on the plot and such so I'm not going to run on that same thing.
One of my biggest issues other than the overly spoken about plot by others is the crappy action. John Wick is suppose to be this Bad A$$, which he was pretty Bad A$$ with a gun, but hand to hand combat he stunk. I mean he was so very bad every time he had no gun and went hand to hand fighting. I'm sorry, but since the plot stunk, and you portray Wick as a Bad A$$ why did you write him as such a stink when it comes to the hand to hand combat.
If you like a movie with a plot don't even try this movie. If you like a movie with a Bad A$$, again this movie isn't for you. You want a Bad A$$ guy in a movie watch the Equalizer. That Plot is far superior to this movie and Denzel is actual a Bad A$$ except very end scenes they sorta got off track.
Blue Bloods: Partners (2014)
bad premiere for a pretty good show
Crazy guy at start of the show wouldn't have been handled that way. Specially as soon as he spit at a pedestrian. Most states (if not all now) consider spitting as assault. He would have been taken down to ground right away. He didn't have any type of weapon to endanger himself or others so the police would have just grabbed him, pulled him down and onto ground. (BTW, what police officer carries a hand held Taser?? They've been carrying gun tasers for a few years now.) The entire Jaime and Jenko scene was far bogus as well. AS soon as he start pushing on Jenko she would have gotten more aggressive. If she even got pushed on the ground, all the officers at scene would have just taken him to the ground. Not stand there starring and barely moving.
For a season premiere i was disappointed in the unrealistic events in the show. All shows have it, but to make all 3 main stories of the show all so far fetched to make the drama is a tad over played. Specially for a premiere. I sure hope it gets better as season goes on. I'm sure it will. Its not like the show hasn't had bad eggs thru-out the 1st 4 seasons.
The Strain (2014)
Inconsistencies
I like this show a lot. Yes there are unrealistic stuff in it, all shows have them.
My biggest issue i have problems with is the Inconsistencies of how light effects the vampires thru-out an episode or from 1 episode to the next.
Next biggest issue i have is how the vampires easily strike unimportant characters. I mean at least make it a struggle or a couple misses b4 they land it. Not a direct hit ever single time.
Inconsistencies and Unrealistic stuff are what bother me most in shows and movies. Still a good show and id say it was the best new summer show out. But the competition wasn't all that high either. My GF loves it and she isn't as critical as me.
Could be better by a lot yes, but it also could be worse like a lot of shows are. I was influx to give it 7 or 8 and went with 8. I'm generally looking forward to watching the next episode to see what happens next so i gave it an 8.
