All That I Need (2005)
Intriguing -- still trying to figure out if this is real
I have to admit, I left the theater wondering if this story was real or not. There are parts that made me think, yeah, this is gotta be staged. But then, most of the film was crazy, like there wasn't a script. Everything seemed to happen in the moment, spontaneously. Some of the dialog seemed so "unrehearsed" that I couldn't help but wonder if this wasn't real.
There's even a part where a priest actually does a blessing on a car. He's even listed in the film credits as Father Daniel Cox. If he's not a priest, are they allowed to do that? So I'm left wondering, is this movie real?
The only negative I can say is that the film was a bit dark in the theater. I wasn't sure if it was the film or a projection problem. It didn't ruin it, just made some details in some scenes hard to see. Other than that, I really enjoyed the film.
Anyway, I won't give away the ending. However, if nothing else, this movie serves as a STRONG warning against pyramid schemes.
