Fans of Brit Marling's work will know that this was good and shared some scifi elements but fell short in many places.
1) You have an army of robots out there building stuff and they are shown once maybe twice?
2) Where was the back story on the guy with the boat? Back stories on everyone were weak at best.
3) Spousal abuse? Really? I was like oh... that's weird.
The one line that struck me in the whole thing was something about experiencing loss without community or something like that, which I can relate to... we have all experienced loss when the OA was cancelled. Brit - FIND A WAY to finish the OA... like come on?? Get creative! OA was 100x better than this and she knows it.
