Somewhere in Indiana (2004)
A beautiful journey
Somewhere In Indiana is a 'road' movie in the best since of the word. It is an emotional journey. A voyage of self-awareness. The acting is first class.
The lead characters; Adam (Jason Kistler), Jane (Janet Vuong), Sam (B.J. Whetstine), Dan (Wes Pollock) bring their problem and badge with them as the travel to a small town in Indiana to visit the hometown of their idol. Roy (Reg Land) was preface as the part of the mysterious stranger who help them face their internal problems.
The featured actors, lead by the talented Colin Alexander who play's Eddie Ray also did an outstanding job.
The cinematography drew me into the story and some of the music was remarkable. Somewhere In Indiana forced me to think about my own mortality and the reason humans go on pilgrimage. The movie is full of complex symbolism.
