The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again (2016)
IF You Love The Original, Avoid!
Seriously wish I'd never watched this. Firat off, the character were "off" (Frank was a transvestite, not transgender) and Tim Curry exuded this aura that just oozed sex appeal. Laverne Cox? Sorry, but it just wasn't the same. Riff Raff, nope. Magenta, nope. The characters just didn't hold a candle to the actors in the original and just didn't seem to be able to play the characters in the same way...it was almost like it was a half hearted attempt at acting. The only good thing was seeing Tim Curry appear as The Narrator, but even that left me feeling sad because of the way he is now. I had to stick the original on straight after so I could erase this monstrosity from my brain.
Voice: Emergency Control Room 110 (2019)
Stick With The Original
After having watched all 4 seasons of the original South Korean drama "Voice", I thought I'd give this a shot. It's literally exactly the same, completely, (I honestly thought they would maybe switch it up bit) but a very cheap version. I couldn't take to the characters, but then again, that maybe because I've watched the original, so that was a downside. Have finished the first season of this but won't bother with the second. If you are going to watch this AFTER the Korean version, I wouldn't bother. However, if you stumble across this and enjoy the plot, check out the original drama afterwards.
Entrance (2012)
Matchsticks needed For Eyelids.
OK, the movie sounded good & I was quite looking forward to it. After about 20 uneventful minutes in, I decided 2 watch it in 'Fast Forward'. In my opinion, it didn't really help matters as it was STILL too slow. Hmmm. It starts 2 get interesting just b4 the end. Oh wait, my mistake! I think this is supposed to be one of those thought provoking, intellectual films but in reality it is just too slow to get going and even then it just fizzles a little rather than being 'Explosive'. Much of the story seemed a little pointless & I couldn't've cared less about any of the characters. All in all, I should've just gone for a kip instead. At least that would've excited me more. Personally I found this film to be one of those films you watch and let out a disappointed 'Oh' at the end.
