Total Recall (I) (2012)

What a total waste of time.
2 September 2012
I just came back from watching this awful movie and let me just say it was a total waste of time and and insult to the original. No story line and for god sake adding a touch of Australia when referring to down-under as a colony would have been a little respectful to the country. The colony felt like hongkong ... well what can be expected from some American director who made such hideously mind numbing movie. Also, I think it was made for Kate Beckinsale, by her husband, as in not one scene did she look unattractive, despite of the grotesquely never ending action scenes, and Jessica Biel looks not so attractive in most of the scenes. Sorry for venting as this movie gave me a massive headache.

What an awful show!

I used to like watching Brad Goreski on the Rachel Zoe Project as he came across human and a likable person, and hoped his show might some of those characteristics but boy was I wrong or what! I had to stop watching 'It's a Brad Brad World' after second episode as I felt like I was watching a male version of the Rachel Zoe Project. Similar form of bitchiness, similar one liners, and how many times can one hear those victim mentality one lines. Blah Blah Blah! Seriously, it would have been so refreshing to see BG avoiding things\stuff that he incurred during his time with RZ. Judging from other viewers comments, I was\am not the only person who disliked the show. Pity!

Fanaa (2006)

What a waste of time and $15.50.

I have just returned from watching Aamir and Kajol's latest movie. This movie bored me to death. I had a lot of expectations after Aamir's totally awesome Rang De Basanti and Kunal Kohli's Hum Tum. But this movie was a total waste of time and money. Yashraj films have been cashing in with their standard sugar coated lovely dovey movies for a long time but somehow the formula just didn't work in this one. Fanaa tried to have too many genres in one movie including James Bond, Mission Impossible and some trash Hollywood love story to name a few. The premise, as promoted, of the movie is about a blind girl falling in love with a terrorist which is technically correct. First half is about Aamir and Kajol's never ending sickly sweet love story, at least that's how it felt like. Second half focused on Aamir's terrorist character, and how he re-kindles his love with Kajol ... again a total drag. One thing is for sure that Kajol is so beautiful and Aamir Khan needs to shed some weight. In one of the wet sari songs one could see his tummy through a white t-shirt he was wearing.
