Ahsoka (2023)
Brilliant, slow, brooding and very, very Jedi...
Just brilliant. As good as Andor but in a fully different way. This is much closer to the Star Wars we all love. Andor was a fantastic departure and amazing and this is as good. If you really think about what a Jedi would be like, slow, patient, considerate and thoughtful, and quiet, then this is the way...
2 down, lots more awesomeness to go. Rosario - you are awesome!
From the opening scene, we enter the beautifully coloured universe. The sound effects are legit and we see some of the advancements in what Jedi are about. Kinda the way you always thought you would do it if you could wield 2 lightsabers also. Just great, great great TV.
Andor: Daughter of Ferrix (2022)
Just perfect - this is how rebellions start
Perfect. The score, the script, the acting, the sets, the ships, everything. This is the best thing Star Wars has made.
Think about what and why rebellions start. They dont start because life is good. They start because life is broken. It takes courage, faith and commitment - even in the face of hard choices - and there are plenty of hard choices here.
You start because rebellion is all you have left.
To the writers, amazing, amazing work. You have really brought Star Wars into the 21st century.
Luthen and his story is outstanding. Hard choices, shady work, coded dialogue. Andor is amazing but he is the vehicle for the story. How does one man, not interested in rebelling learn to rebel. We find it here. Diego is super.
The ISB - everything you knew the Empire to be. Specific, on the ball, sharp, watching. But overreaching. Their over confidence will be their undoing.
The fight scene - again just wow. Everything you ever hoped for done perfectly. This show is not about x wings and tie fighters - but they serve and they are there.
Mon Mothma - you legend. You steal every show. Your faith and commitment to the role and the amazing dialogue you have is spellbinding.
This is the best show since GoT (the early seasons - obviously). Long may you reign.
Westworld: Kiksuya (2018)
The best ever
Simply the best episode of Westworld ever! Truly gripping and the acting was amazing. Like you forget people are acting. Really spellbinding and the lead actor was crazy, crazy good. Hearing Native American on screen is truly beautiful and ancient.
Westworld: Vanishing Point (2018)
Wow...
What's to say. Some of the best TV ever. Simple.
Episode 8 was the best ever but this is a close, close second. Just gripping TV. Every scene is like a painting and the characters get richer and richer.
