The Maid's Room (2013)
Waste of time. Not worth even as a TV release.
Waste of time. Amateur story/screen writing/music/directing. Thriller? You gotta be kidding! All predictable cliché. Not worth the release in theaters or DVD rental. I was hoping for a certain twist to the plot. But the story just keeps dragging until at the very end you are left wondering what the production team was thinking when they made this movie. This is more of a story in the newspaper, sad but not worth turning into a feature film. I'm giving it 2 stars for the effort. The main characters are all badly acted. Any college student studying filming would have just as easily directed and written this script. You're better off watching reruns of past hits.
Safe Haven (2013)
Not worth watching
I think the only reason this even got released as film is due to the label "from the author of The Notebook". Same deal with this author's other novel. Both would not have attracted enough viewers without the release of The Notebook. Story is as bland as all the acting. The story is typical, predictable, plenty of "dead time" on useless parts that just add to one's boredom. There's a big difference in the content of the story when compared with the Notebook. I'm not a big fan of "chick-flicks". However, i enjoy GOOD DRAMA. This one I find not worth the cost of a movie ticket, let alone a Blu-Ray disc. There are plenty of better love stories that are Movie-on-TV kinds. This one I'm not sure is even worth showing as a Primetime movie-on-TV.
