The King (2019)
Nice
Everything was nice and all, but it was kind of hard to believe that Henry (Chalamet) was more than 30 years old at the end. They should have aged Chalamet somehow, he's too twinky.
Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable (2017)
Masterpiece.
Wanna know why?
I've read many angry reviews here and I noticed most of them trashed Damien Hirst, people were angry at him for fooling them. And people are sensitive when it comes to their pride. But they didn't see the bigger picture.
This is what Hirst wanted. To scandalise them, make them angry, write a bad review even.
To me the point of the whole "art" weren't the sculptures. (They were indeed nice of course.) It was the aftermath. That he made so many gullible people angry at him (possibly themselves too, for believing him?).
That's why I think it was a masterpiece.
Well crafted.
