Minnal Murali (2021)
Subtle, Powerful, Engaging.
I saw this movie in Hindi. So maybe missed a few references which could have only been understood in the language in which it was shot.
This movie doesn't make the mistake of making it a glamorous one. It had a beautiful narrative. There were few main characters who were all interlinked. This made a simple story an enjoyable one.
The villain origin story could easily compete with some of the complicated marvel characters. It didn't just have a simple good vs evil story. Also the confusion between the hero and the villain seemed all too real.
Set in the backdrop of rural India, it successfully highlights our strengths, weaknesses, and our relations with each other.
A good watch for a healthy dose of entertainment.

Refreshing Experience
This review is written with me just fresh out of the theatre.
This is a treat. In every aspect.
Spectacular picturization. The graphics were so good. It made everything seem so real. It was a treat to watch such good visuals after such a long time.
Captivating storyline. Even having not read the novels before, the story kept me hooked on. It's simple yet powerful. You are lost in a fantasy world which seems refreshing. Also the pace at which is proceeds is a treat for people who likes to slowly get absorbed by a story.
Perfect engaging cast. Each character were cast perfectly. It seemed the actors were born to play the role. They each had their own idiosyncrasies which suited them.
Background score. This is the icing on the cake which blended perfectly with all the other aspects of the movie to set the wheels in motion.
This is a complete package experience which I'd recommend you to watch on the silver screen.
Dil Bechara (2020)
This is an Experience
A movie is supposed to make you feel and live. This is an experience. You will laugh, be amazed, be shocked, smile, cry and be sad. There couldn't have been a better Eulogy to cement the legacy of an individual who deserved more.
Ad Astra (2019)
Review a month after watching
This to me was a poem aptly put forward. Background score immerse you in the experience. Certain segments might appear extremely out of proportion; but looking past it you will find yourself gazing into one of the scariest parts of deep space travel. How the boundary between sanity and not as well as between truth and imagination disappears. When these nuances hit you, the effects of this will not escape you for sometime.
Section 375 (2019)
Hits the right notes
It undertakes a more pragmatic approach towards a courtroom drama. No unecessary dialogues or scenes. It boldly put forwards the writer's views on the judicial system we feel we deserve.
Also, no other actor could've done it better than Akshay Khanna.
