Z (2019)
Familiarity and freshness clash, in a good way...
I've read a lot of reviews for "Z", I understand both sides. I'm a huge fan of horror/thriller films especially the 'poorly rated cheesy <5/10' films. To twist the entire plot of the 'demonic entity' being the mother's childhood imaginary friend and nothing else, as far as I'm aware is pretty much not been done before. And I love it. Up until that point it's your typical demonic movie, but, that stair scene though, didn't see that coming. Personally would prefer more like that in a horror/thriller film. My best friend very early on did however predict the theory is was her friend, but he's a genius at this stuff, but still surprised and loved it too. Okay, so it may not have been the best executed film, but who cares. This is entertainment, it's all entertainment, produced for all those who want to watch and if they like it, then they like it, if not, well don't watch it again. No need to trash talk a movie just because you don't like it. To each their own right? If you do like this film and are actually reading this review, check out "Breed", the "Cujo" of 2006's film industry. Somewhat predictable but a lot of surprise jump scares but not dependent upon them. However I maybe a tad biased as I've seen so much horror, so it's not hard to guess plots and endings though. Those two movies are one of the best I've seen in a long time, as well as "The Cabin in the Woods" and "Backcountry". All are must sees if you rate this film above 5~/10' ENJOY!!!
Shark Side of the Moon (2022)
Interesting but different
I personally love these kind of B grade movies. I find it like a mix of Gravity and Alien. So cheesy but so good. Making the sharks be able to walk was a bit weird I would of expected them to be more undestructable land sharks that don't walk.
Scoob! (2020)
Good film
One of the biggest Scooby-Doo fans out there. I personally like the today's culture in the film but wish it retained more of the classic elements of any other Scooby-Doo film/show. However I'm not a fan of the plot, it almost seems to me reminiscent of Minions, which I really didn't like. The humour was alright. I'd watch it every once in awhile.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999)
Amazing show
I absolutely love SVU. I honestly don't know why this show doesn't win Emmys each year. Mariska is one of the best actresses there are. Olivia's character personality is flawless. Not currently the best fan of Kat.
Family Guy: Be Careful What You Fish For (2012)
Hilarious
Trisha at Peter's door was hilarious. I was in tears for 10 minutes.
