Reacher (2022)
Sorry, but Season 2 is horrible.
What happened to the realism?
Season 2 of Reacher features laughably unrealistic scenarios-like two snipers incapable of hitting any four people from 200 yards away running at them firing *handguns*. Like Reacher firing a handgun at a helicopter gunner using a belt-fed machine gun. Like Reacher firing a handgun while running at full speed.
The bad guys fire 10,000 rounds in this season and can't manage to hit a single thing they're aiming at. And these are supposed to be highly trained people?
Beyond that, the dialogue is shallow and feels very expository. It was bad enough that I just bailed on Ep7 out of sheer refusal to give the show any more of my time.
Ozark: A Hard Way to Go (2022)
Allowing Ruth to die was unforgivable.
As morally-questionable as the Byrdes have been for four seasons, I was always sort of pulling for them and hoping they'd make it out of the cartel life by the skin of their teeth.
The last 15 minutes of the finale made me despise them. All of them. Anything redeemable about the family was wiped away in two scenes.
Maybe that was the intention of the writers the entire time, but as a viewer, it feels like a betrayal to discover you've spent four years rooting for some of the worst people on the planet.
