Open Water (2003)
Open Water
I enjoyed the start of the movie and the under water scenes. I did not enjoy the movie after they came to the top of the water and found out was no boat. You could understand the anxiety of the main characters and their bickering under the circumstances and feel for them yourself.
My biggest problem that the movie was so long of just those two in the water and the sharks around. The jelly fish were an added attraction and as the little fish nipping at their legs.
It was hard to believe that the charted boat was so careless to leave someone diving and not have a better head count. I heard this happening before but believe me I will never be a victim.
I rented this movie off pay per view and do not feel as I received my moneys worth and that is the main reason I do not go the movie houses or rent more movies on pay per view. They just do not live up to their advertisement. Besids that, I just like the movies about the old west.
Sand (1949)
Sand 1949
I saw this movie when I was 18 years old, that was some time back, and I remember bits and pieces of this movie. The horse named "Jubilee" and he turned outlaw after the train wreck. Stevens spent a long time trying to find his stallion and would find information from people who caught glimpses of the horse from time to time. In one scene the horse tried to kill his owner after running wild and before being captured by Rory Calhoun and used as a bucking horse in rodeos before finally being united with his owner played by Mark Stevens. I am hoping someone can tell me how to get a copy of that movie as I have exhausted all of my means. I would recommend this movie for anyone who loves horses and the scenery is outstanding.
