The Gods (2017)
Fantastic Indie! Great Cast! Great Story!
Mykel Shannon Jenkins and producers Stefania Spampinato and Leif Holt put together a fantastic crew with a spectacular cast of very strong actors. They had no rehearsals other than the director (Mykel) specifically discussing the story and the key elements of his screenplay. He wanted every actor to be prepared to live his life as their characters. Mykel said he had cast actors that he could call who would all come in prepared to work! - It was the truth. Mykel Shannon Jenkins, Producer, writer, director, lead role as Mikey James - DYNAMITE! The leading lady (playing my daughter Sofia) was Stephania Spampinato (She's the real deal, from Sicily.) Excellent actor! Absolutely Beautiful! - Great personality. The actor playing my son Anthony, Kevin Interdonato (Orig from New Jersey) looked like he could have been my son and he was POWERFUL. Very strong actor. Remember that name. Leif Holt played "Ghost" - A great actor! He plays my son's sidekick in the story. A tattooed, homicidal scary character with pale blue eyes! - You don't want to be in his sights. The James brothers, Nicoye Ebony Banks as Keith - Street wise and believably tough. Ernest Thomas as Olympus "OG" was perfect casting. Excellent actor! Great personality! Casey Ford Alexander as Bobby. Intelligent and cunning. As a young man in real life he performed at Carnegie Hall singing opera. Elias Cecil as Florian the intense and very precise mob hit-man. Bryce Clyde Jenkins as Little Homie. (He is Mykel's son in real life. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!) Excellent young talented and dedicated actor. Future star! Very smart well mannered young man. As for myself Talbot Perry Simons, I portrayed mob boss Anthony "Pops" Fasano and I was told by producer, writer, director actor, Mykel Shannon Jenkins that my work was inspirational. :) Director of Photography - Igor Kosenko.
If I left out anyone I apologize.
Auto Archaeology (2009)
Excellent concept for a reality TV show.
This is a great idea for a TV show. It held my attention from start to finish. I am anxious to see the end result after this old GTO is fixed up. Seems like a lucrative venture to dig up these old cars and restoring them to the original state. Surprised it isn't being done more often. Maybe it is? The old car being dug up was like a mystery being revealed. There are a lot of questions that can go along with an abandoned car. I particularly liked finding out the history that went along with the vehicle. I hope they pursue this angle deeper in the future. I look forward to seeing this show on the air. I give it a thumbs up all the way!Great concept.
