Death on the Nile (2022)
I was duped by the reviews
There is a lot to dislike about this movie and having just watched it less than two hours ago it's hard to single out the worst part. So I'm going to list them in no particular order
Plot 2
Casting 3
Direction 4
Acting 4
Cinematography 2
Music 7
I guess what annoyed me was that the movie was 127 minutes and they spent so much time trying to satisfy the on screen time vultures that you never witnessed a standout scene, such is the plight for film makers in 2022
I've never made a movie, from behind or in front of the camera but I've parted with money on many occasions and can say honestly I've seen better movies and worse movies but this one is filed under a solid 3.
Capitol Punishment (2021)
Not the greatest documentary but way too much presented for it to be fake
Once you watch it you ask the question how did this go unreported?
Nick interviews a not insignificant number of people who attended, there are other interviews but I focused on the people who claimed to have been there. They are real people not actors and even the simplest of searches reveals this.
There are some claims with respect to timing of events/speeches and corresponding incidents at the capitol building which raise an eyebrow or two.
If the footage was faked, then why fake so much of it?
No Time to Die (2021)
The franchise is dead - literally.
There is no point pulling apart the movie for all its deficiencies, that would be a waste of your time and more importantly mine.
Suffice to say the glaringly obvious failings were numerous and others have already outlined those in detail. The more important question is where does this leave devoted fans? A globally successful franchise that preceded many others, has it too now succumbed to the same fate? Sadly the answer is yes.
The narrative is already laid out in full. 163 minutes minus the obfuscation of action sequences, James Bond is dead as we know it. In the same way the current Star Wars franchise is unrecognizable to its creator so too will be the next iteration of Bond to Fleming. Character assassination is at the core of this movie, the landscape for future iterations will be built upon the ruins of this disaster and without doubt none will be recognisable.
So yeah James Bond is dead - literally.
Stowaway (2021)
Awful
Really Awful
This movie is terrible, everything is wrong, storyline, castling, dialog, acting
I'm a sci fi fan but this is a f#$king joke, worse than Disney's stolen ideas factory.
A Wrinkle in Time (2018)
Drivel
What an awful movie!
Sometimes you wonder when a movie is made worth millions of dollars, surely there must be some oversight to ensure that the final product is at least watchable, this movie isn't.
The premise from the onset is laughable, so sorry script writers, whoever you are just as much to blame for this atrocity.
I can't tell if the scenes were the result of the editors not having anything to work with or the director not providing anything worth keeping.
Save yourself the pain skip this, ohhh and shame on you Netflix for including this as a viewable title, it belongs in your list of Bollywood trash can titles
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
The most expensive B grade SCI FI ever made
Words cannot begin to describe how disappointed I am with this Disney cookie cutter drivel.
The user reviews will tell you what is wrong with the movie from a plot/story/script perspective but the reality is that this movie makes the prequels look good and they were garbage.
