November 13: Attack on Paris (2018)
Unbelievably painful but a must see
Had to stop watching quite a few times to wipe tears from my eyes. The scale of the attack is incredible and much bigger than I knew. What the survivors experienced is unimaginable and we owe it to ourselves to watch this to understand the real impacts of terrorism.
Formula 1: Drive to Survive (2019)
Superb
Fell out of love with F1 for a few years but this summary of the 2018 season is superb. It explains what happens off and on the track that is enthralling even for those uninterested in F1. I really hope Netflix do this after each season.
Thanks to this show I'm back on the F1 hype.
After Life (2019)
Mesmerising
Currently watching this show with tears in my eyes. The show is laugh out loud funny and painfully sad in the blink of an eye. Ricky Gervais is amazing and the pain in his eyes is the mark of a great actor. His depression is almost masked by the other actors and how upbeat the music and scenery is.
This show is a rollercoaster. The language is amazing, packed full of swearing but that is used well and adds to the characters pain.
I'm half way through episode 2 and considering bailing on my dinner to keep going.
10* is not high enough
