Strangers with Candy (1999–2000)
A Great Show resurrected by DVD
20 July 2005
I watched these episodes when they first aired on Comedy Central, and I thought they were hilarious. "Really I don't know how they got away with some of their jokes, even though it was on cable. I am glad they did though."

I love the ironic; nothing is off limits, humor to this show. I mean the school is named Flatpoint.

Now that I have bought all 3 seasons, I have to say that this show is a lot funnier than I remember. You find something new every time you watch them. I find that the 1st Season is probably the best of the 3, so pick up a copy.

Have a Great Day!

This is a MUST SEE! (for everyone)
9 February 2005
I saw this documentary right after it came on HBO, for the first time (8yr. or so ago). For those who are not familiar with Lenny Bruce, this film is a must to see. I have to say the same for those who know of Lenny (like if you have read "How to Talk Dirty and Influence People", or whatever). Though if you don't have that book, (this is to everyone) please buy it.

Back to the film, I think that this documentary is one of the best of it's time (later 90's). This is a great depiction of his life, and basically the sacrifices that he was confronted with. I have to applaud Robert Weide for this work. As a filmmaker he truly (though a true fan of Lenny), remained realistic without bias. To top it off Robert De Nero is the narrator.

The only thing else I can say is, "we should all be thankful that we had a Lenny Bruce, for if not for him we would not have the great performers we have today".

(Please Watch this Film if you can / and Don't Forget the BOOK!)

One of the best movies to turn non-Horror fans...
13 March 2004
This is a great movie to show to non fans of classic or even recent horror movies. The zombies present an evident threat and fear, but they also have a quantity of great comic relief (well at least it was to me...). Seeing that this was made in 1978, you have to give it up to G.Romero, for making such a movie with the budget he had. I advise you to check out all three parts (night, dawn, and day). If you have yet to enjoy them. Also go to see the remake, and support the movies. (but, if you have yet to see the first DAWN OF THE DEAD. I think you would see it first, before the new one is out) But thats just me.

I hope you like them.
