BEAUTIFUL AND GOOD FEELING IN SPITE OF THE END

The actors in this movie were believable, fun and entertaining. And I and others laughed and laughed. Some guy had written to Tommy Wiseau that the audience was laughing at him not with him. Well obviously that writer was not one that liked the movie...so why was he there??? I and others on each side of me who were so enjoying this movie and found it delightful. That critic who described other people laughing at Tommy Wiseau, described themselves right in that sentence. What do we say in America of those who "laugh at somebody"....case in point, enough said...but just shame on you.Those that laugh AT others show their own character and how "small" they are. There are many little kids who experience this same meanness as a small child. It shows how inmature and what a low self concept this person has of self.

There was something about this movie that appeals to a great many people. Many of the movies I see now days are so the same old movie type, with the same faces....very boring and trite. It is really fun and refreshing to find something out there that is delightfully different with some different actors. Each of these actors were very different and really had their own personalities.This movie was alive with energy and fun spirit. There was something about "THE ROOM" that made you feel as if these actors were really your own friends and you felt part of the movie. Some critic had pointed out that some of the movie had been filmed to show this movie took place in San Francisco. So what is new....? That makes it interesting. And to the makers of this movie I say to you....ignore the critics..they are there because otherwise no one would notice them and it is obvious that some of these guy for some reason appears to be very jealous or for some reason is trying to make fun of Tommy Wiseau. Shame on them....it just shows a persons character.

The movie was very colorful in the color displayed throughout the film and the characters were colorful in their personalities. The acting was great and alive with new energy. I am not in the movie business....I am just a movie goer that was delighted to find something different from the usual trite movies fed to us by the same group of Hollywood, that wants everyone to think and see things only one way...their way. This movie was funny, entertaining, kept your attention and you loved all the characters... I can understand the cult following completely. Remember Mr.Wiseau, the people who are making the negative comments are the ones in the business who don't like you personally for whatever reason. People like me, are the ones who are not in the business, but actually go to the movie for fun and pure enjoyment. And we.........lots of us loved the movie and would like to see more. Thank you for making it. It was beautiful.

Addicting movie that you can have fun with.

I have seen this movie twice, and it grows on you. The characters are endearing are you get caught up in their affection for one another and their togetherness. It is something that many men can identify with from their past or have to look forward to in their future. Some men will keep this as their secret. It clearly shows the timeless triangle of the friendship between two men brought down and completely destroyed by a beautiful, remorseless and deceitful woman using sex and co-dependency as her lethal weapons. The character, Johnny, is so endearing in his complete trust of his finance,the beautiful Lisa. Johnny is a very sweet and trusting man .The director really missed many heart stopping moments that were lost, because of rushing through the scenes that were very loaded with tension and should have been played out to the max. There should have been longer heart stopping pauses, but instead the moment was lost by rushing through the scenes that were exploding with sexual tension. There were several of these such instances at Johnny's surprise birthday party when everyone was all around having a good time laughing and not knowing how volatile the situation in the room was. The movie really missed it by not exploiting this to the fullest. This was what the whole movie had been building up to. There was so much sexual tension between the unfaithful Lisa and Johnnie's cheating friend, Mark. The air was riveting and charged with the buildup from the start of the whole movie. The directors should have really made a big deal of long, tension filled, up close eye contact, between Lisa and Mark. Mark was definitely not thinking with his brain. These looks and tensions could have been played out and underscored so much more.I was disappointed this huge opportunity was barely tapped. This was my biggest disappointment about the entire movie. There should have been more exchange tension filled looks between Lisa and Mark, Mark and Johnnie, and others that knew, but mostly between Lisa and Mark, and the camera should have let time stand still with a close up of the emotion in Lisa and Mark's eyes. Everyone would squirm as the whole party of friends stood in the circle awaiting..... the bomb to explode.....how..... and with whom????? Let the tension exist and prolong it so we all get our money's worth for the.... climax. Lisa was completely spontaneous, unpredictable and with no inhibitions to get what she wanted..... wherever she wanted it. Even Lisa's mother could not believe how remorseless her daughter was. This movie gets better each time you see it. All the characters are so endearing you feel like you are actually there with them and they are your friends. Each character is special. There are heart stopping moments of suspense when you think Johnny will find out about his best friend, and will freak out, he is so in love with her. Johnny's best friend, Mark, is a sexy hunk who would make any woman melt. The impetuous, Lisa, is the woman every woman fears and every man secretly longs to be seduced by. Johnny is the man every woman wishes they had to completely trust and adore them. Lisa starts to make everyone feel uncomfortable and uneasy because she has no impulse control. She is out to lure and seduce every man that comes close to her. Some of the scenes showed Lisa, with her huge violet eyes and dark eyebrows, as being very innocent and sweet, and you actually feel sorry for her. The only person that really seem to be able to touch Lisa, was Denny, the young boy that Johnny had adopted. Only with him, did she seem to think about someone besides herself. Look for Mark and Lisa to be Hollywood's next sweethearts. They look just sensational on the big screen together. I don't know where Tommy found a couple that looks so much alike. When they are on the big screen together, they are beautiful.The only problem is Lisa is evil, and Mark is good. But Mark like the other men, is unable to resist Lisa. The music goes perfectly with the movie. Get the soundtrack. This movie deals with something that is between us and all around us everyday and always will be. This movie was filmed in San Francisco. Something about the movie haunts you and you end up hungering for more. The movie was very lighthearted, different and entertaining because it took your mind inside other's lives and their unique friendships. A film we can all relate to.... and fear or.. anticipate.... depending on if you are male or female....thank you Tommy.
