One Tree Hill: All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone (2007)
Amazing
Mark Schwan, the producers, cast, and crew went ALL out for the season 4 finale. If I could be Mark Schwan---I would! This finale really represented One Tree Hill and didn't disappoint. I can't wait until Sesason 5 rolls around! 5 years into the future? That's a really smart and innovative idea--I'm excited to see what will happen to all the characters. Every one of them has their distinct, individual journey. Nobody plays second-string to Lucas Scott, and I really like that.
I have to say that I'm not in high school, but I have really loved watching this show. All the characters' experiences transcend high school and make them more relatable.
One Tree Hill (2003)
Nothing Like It Seems, and Still Going Strong
"One Tree Hill" is one of the most surprising shows I've ever come across. It's thinly veiled as a teenage soap, but Mark Schwan, the writers, crew, and cast take teenage angst to an entirely new level. They make this one-hour drama so emotionally-charged that I wish I were actually part of this show. Do not underestimate "One Tree Hill".
I feel like the show is crafted in such a way that I resonate with at least one character's journey in every episode. The great thing about "One Tree Hill" is that the characters' conflicts and feelings remain the most important catalyst that drives this show and keeps audiences interested. I'm not a musician, basketball player, prom queen, or cheerleader, but I can definitely identify with these characters in spite of not having the same labels as they do. More than anything, "One Tree Hill" takes those labels and rips them apart so that characters I imagined I had already figured out became fresh and relatable.
Give "One Tree Hill" a chance if you haven't already. If you look under the surface, you won't be disappointed.
