The Railway Men: The Untold Story of Bhopal 1984 (2023)
Great acting by almost everyone
While it was hard to watch knowing fully well how terrible the tragedy was, I couldn't stop watching it because of impeccable acting by almost every actor.
The editing is slick, story moves fast and some key roles were given to really great actors. KK Menon you expect to be great but Babil Khan was a surprise. Even with faces half covered, they were able to convey expressions just through eyes.
But other good actors like Juhi and Madhavan couldn't make the required impact.
Another series that came to mind while watching this was Chernobyl but Railwaymen focuses more on human angle and Chernobyl was more about the politics behind it.

What a load of BS
Plot is too thin, trek prep and actual trek is highly inaccurate.
Even a 30 year old will need 2 months to prepare for this trek and the movie shows that the 3 aged men who barely workout could get fit for it in 2 months
Then the trek shows only one guide for such a large group who is impatient when the old folks slow her down. Seriously? This is an extremely high altitude and large groups have multiple assistant guides who ensure that slower folks are not alone and sim guide continues to lead the rest of the group
The craziness on the bridge during the rain - that never happens. The trek is not easy but it has been shown as treacherous which it is not.
Overall the movie is at least one hour long due to unnecessary melodrama and the trek part wasn't fun at all.
The Mauritanian (2021)
Loved it
Loved the acting, the pace and the message. Tahar Rahim is impressive!
Judy (2019)
Mediocre movie but excellent acting
Renee's acting was definitely oscar worthy but rest is the movie wasn't. Too slow and too obvious - wish the angst could be exhibited better than just the booze and pills. Inspite of all that Renee did manage to share the pain - especially in the last song!

Good movie but not great
The movie is definitely well made and has a good twisted ending but to be honest, it is nothing special. I watched it because of so many great reviews and awards and while I loved the slick way it moved instead of being slow - I have watched enough such movies in Indian cinema to know that it is not a masterpiece.
