The Chronicles of Riddick (2004)
Vin Diesel at his best!
This is movie is a creative masterpiece that has worlds so interesting, and so relevant politically that I never tire of viewing it. The bounty hunter, the young officer with his hot ambitious wife, and the evil supreme leader with a deep history of violent domination make this a very entertaining film. Riddick is a solid reluctant hero with his own sad interests that almost brought a tear to my eye. Definitely worth a view , or two!
Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear's 'All in the Family' and 'The Jeffersons' (2019)
Not your fathers All In the Family
Woody Harrelson is far from what was needed to fill the great Carol O Conners' shoes. He just forced it too much (and not in a meaningful good way) as performances go. Wanda Sykes was an equal letdown as a match for Louises' persona. Edith , and Meathead were the best replacements.
George Jefferson , and Gloria were passable. Truly the best achievement of this show ( and the original) was the mirror of racism being laid out in an everyday way for all to see, and comprehend.
