Finally, a film that didn't follow the USA vs. Russia script of space stories. Even though at the beginning I wasn't really keen on the spider, by the end I found a very deep connection and meaning behind it.
But what I love most about this story is that it makes a very important point about the waste of time and resources in space exploration. What is the point, really? A race of egos and toxic power? The idea that some people want to explore beyond the impossible when we have no clue who we are and what we really want. To reach the limit where we can't literally live and are close to losing life, just to realize what we are destroying. What a beautiful message. I really enjoyed this film.
Also Mr Richter made another beautiful work for a very enjoyable visual experience.
