Swatantrya Veer Savarkar (2024)
A must watch if one is interested in Indian Freedom struggle
Randeep Hooda has gone into the skin of character
The movie is true to the facts. There are so many unsung revolutionary heroes who were part of Indian Freedom Struggle inspired by Swatyantra Veer Savarkar
He was passionate nationalist, revolutionary, barrister, poet and author . This movie does not shy away to show the truth how MK Gandhi and Jawahar were wrong on many fronts. How the policies of the Gandhi and Nehru did not prepare Indian military in fate of any war. Indian paid price in subsequent attack on Kashmir in 1948 and 1962 lost territory to China. Nehru was selected PM with bias by MK Gandhi. He was not elected PM by even his partymen. The history hidden by all governments even current Indian government is shown without shying away and fearlessly in this movie. Hence younger Indian generation should watch this movie to understand the perspective of unsung and unappreciated Indian Freedom fighters and the atrocities they went through during British rule and after independence during Nehru rule.
Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)
Not impressive
The story seems to be copied from multiple Hollywood and Bollywood movies. It lacks coherence. Some special effects are amazing while many like submarine scene is subpar. Car chase is dejavu feeling being similar to many thousand movies. Tom Cruise is old and lost his shine. This MI could have been definitely better made. If you are Tom Cruise fan then you will be sad to see him old. There is too much monologue not helping the screen play. European Alps and the bike scene is must watch. But that's it nothing unique. Please don't have high expectations. Previous MI movies were 100 times better.
You Don't Know Me (2021)
Absolutely Amazing
Script, plot, cast, acting and direction all of it is just perfect and keeps you glued till the end of 4th episode. The way plot progresses is amazing keeping audience guessing what's next. I would have loved to see the protagonist's manager towards the end as he acted his part well too and you keep missing him though not directly tied to the plot. Everyone has given 100% of their performance which makes it more interesting to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it is a must watch.
83 (2021)
Flawless and terrific
Script, Direction, Acting, Editing. Cinematography and every aspect of movie making is 100 upon 100. The portrayal of Kapil Dev by Ranveer is just amazing. All the actors have given more than 100% for their roles.
Again a true story told in beautiful and enthralling way. A must watch and can be watched multiple times.
Pawankhind (2022)
Good attempt
This was long awaited story to be told. The director has tried to his best to do justice. Mrunal Kulkarni has once again proved how great actress she is. Chinmay while portraying Shivaji, forgets he is doing movie and not on stage performing live in front of audience. He continuously tries to be in some uncomfortable pose with exaggerated emotions and at times overacting to portray Maharaj. The worst character for the movie chosen was for the role young Sambhaji. He completely lacked any connect with the story. Rest all characters played their best. Among them one of the best actors is definitely Ajay Purkar who has complete justice to the role. One folk song based song is the only good song in the movie. Rest all the songs you forget by the time to leave theatre. The quality of animation and photography could be improved as in many sequences the movie comes out to be low budget. The movie is must watch since it's a true story told of immense valor, strength and sacrifice by team of small soldiers to protect their God and saviour Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
