Eternals (2021)
Too Bad...
I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I have recently re-watched all the movies in order to the end of phase 3, and I love them, but this doesn't seem to fit. It doesn't feel like the other movies. I read in another review about not being able to connect to the movie, and I agree. I have tried to watch this movie twice, now, and I can't get through it. The characters seem to just be doing things for no reason, and the antagonist monsters just seemed made up so there could be something to fight. I don't get it. So, too bad, I don't know what happened, but I look forward to the continuation of phase 4, and I will go back to re-watching all the Defender's series on Netflix.
Alita: Battle Angel (2019)
How Did I Miss This?
I just recently watched Alita: Battle Angel for the first time, and I am usually on top of the SciFi movie releases. Anyway, I loved it! The actors were great and the story is begging to be continued. Alita is future cyborg bad-assery at it's finest. Please, please, please make a sequel.
Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (2011)
Spartacus Rocks
This is a great series. The filming is cool and done in the style of "300". It's a shame that the lead actor dies in real life after the first season. He was a great Sparticus, but the actor who replaces him is very good as well. This series has everything I like in a movie; sex, violence, treachery, revenge, and glory. This show also ends well, which has become a concern since Game of Thrones flopped so badly. You will be able to tell from the first episode if you will like this series, or not. I did, and have re-watched at least twice.
Game of Thrones (2011)
3 Episodes Killed 8 Seasons of Awesome
The last three episodes killed the re-watchablitity for me since now I know that none of the foreshadowing or prophecies meant anything. It like they wanted it to be so unguessable that they just said, "Ok, who is the least person you would expect to be on the Iron Throne, We will just throw out 8 season s of character development and put him on anyway."
Eight seasons, and three episodes were great. I loved when Arya killed the Night King, but I didn't realize then that it was the beginning of the end. Anyway, my plan was to watch the final episodes and then go back and binge watch the whole series, now that I know how it ends, and pick up all the foreshadowing and know why people did the things they did., but after everyone broke character and just decided to do whatever at the end, none of that matters. Where is the Prince who was promised? what did the Lord of Light want? what does the Night King symbols mean? Why did it matter that Jon was Aegon, just so he could ride a dragon in the final episodes? Bran didn't want anything until all of a sudden, King, They should have made Hot Pie the King. It would have made as much sense. Anyway, it's like finding out that someone you looked up to for the last ten years turned out to be a charlatan. This show could have been epic.
Ash vs Evil Dead (2015)
Love It
I have been a fan of the Evil Dead series for decades. I love it; the humor, the gore. I have always been a fan of B horror movies, like Reanimator, and Toxic Avenger, but Evil Dead, and especially, Army of Darkness, are my favs. This series was great. Ash was in top form, and I hope that there will be more to come in the future, so Give Me Some Sugar, Baby

The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret (2009)
Awesome!!
This show is David Cross. It's a little of everything that you know him for in his past works such as Arrested Development and Scary Movie and so forth. If you like David Cross, you will laugh your hoo hoo off at this one.
At first, I was skeptical about a show that was called Todd Margeret as I tend to judge books by their covers, and so was my room mate, but as soon as we watched the first episode we were hooked. I laughed so hard that I could barely see through the tears. The first six episodes are over now and I hope that this show runs for several seasons. So, grab a box of tissues, sit back and enjoy some sick and twisted comedy by David Cross and Will Arnet. Oh yeah, and don't forget your Thunder Muscle.
