Eyewitness (2016)

Stale and kind a boring

Why does almost all the new USA network shows have the same monochromatic and black n white cinematography, it is great as a novelty but to have all of the shows (like Mr. Robot, Falling Water, Colony And this show) same screen tone is getting dull. That being said, I have the terrible misfortune of wasting my time on the first episode of this show. Tyler and Paxton, two teens get their freak on in Paxton's father cabin. Meanwhile three guys turn up in front of this cabin in a car with a hostage. Turns out one of the guy is an FBI informant and he helps the hostage but the hostage guy shoot all three of them. Tyler and Paxton saw all this while hiding but Tyler got found out by the shooter but Paxton saves him by hitting shooter from behind. They ran away and Paxton don't wanna tell anybody about this because he didn't want to be outed as a gay. And now there is Tyler foster mom who is the sheriff of the town, his real mom is an addict, FBI informant guy was. bother in law of the FBI agent working this case, both Tyler and Paxton show some more teenager angst and the shooter is now looking for Tyler ( Man the show is convoluted and boring). My final thoughts are if u have an hour to kill and don't have any thing to do, just have a nap.

Toonpur Ka Superrhero (2010)

Bollywood should try using original ideas

I did a big mistake by watching the movie on big screen. Man! the movie was so dumb. I think it will only target kid around 5 years. The idea was copied from 1996 movie named 'Space Jam' starring Michael Jordan. Although the 3D animation in the movie is good but still it was not enough to make the movie watchable. The plot of movie is almost the same as that of 'Space Jam'. A real-life film hero is Kidnapped by cartoons(Devtoons) to help them win there fight against evil toons. First the Hero-Ajay Devgan is reluctant to help them but to show his family that he is a real life hero too, he helps them win against evil toons(Toonasurs). So heres my advice,if you are even a day older than 5 years, don't waste your time by watching this crap.

Miral (2010)

Miral - a nice effort

Movie revolves around the history of Israel and Palestine.The story of the movie is basically how war affects the life of people. How everyday's life co-exist with the horrors of war. One thing that I love about the movie was the unique camera angles and styles.First Half of the movie was like a roller-coaster in term of camera technique. It was like if the camera was narrating what the characters were feeling.Julian Schnabel did a good job,I think. The title of the movie is not an excellent choice because sometime character of Hind Husseini(Hiam Abbass) seem to overpower the Farida Pinto's character- Miral. Overall the movie did a great job in conveying its message and its not a must-watch but its also not a complete waste of time either.

The Warrior's Way (2010)

Exciting overlap of Wild west and Ninja genre

After a long time an excellent experiment in action genre happened, One can just judge it only after watching this movie's trailer. How cool is it that cowboys are fighting ninja. The Plot of movie is fairly simple. A cold blooded ninja assassin turns into a soft-hearted person when he couldn't kill the last baby of his enemy clan. This act make him an outcast and he is hunted by other ninjas. During his run he ends up into a strange circus town. The town is tormented by an evil cowboy.Other ninjas also find out about his location. After that the real action starts. Old wild west music was used to create the environment but the iconic Ninja movie music was not used at all, which is a bit shame because it could have made the movie more intriguing. Cinematography of the movie was great and so was lighting effects. Lots of slow motion action scenes add to excitement and fun. So I think the movie is worth-watching

London Boulevard (2010)

A fairly nice movie

This movie is based on a novel with same name by Ken Bruen. The movie starts by showing Mitchell(Colin Farrell) in a prison room. He is released after three years for some crime that he don't even remember completely. He is greeted by Billy Norton (Ben Chaplin). Billy works for a Shady Gangster named Gant(Ray Winstone). Gant is a loan collector and a ruthless crime lord. He wants Mitchell to do some work for him but Mitchell resists because he doesn't want to end up in jail again. In the mean time Mitchell gets a job of guarding a film actress named Charlotte(Keira Knightley) from the Paparazzi. There he met Jordon(David Thewlis) who is a crack-head and use to run some errands for Charlotte in her home. Charlotte is a sadist and she confined herself in her home where she lives with her painting. She hates being in front of camera flashes and newspaper.Mitchell starts to fall in love with her but he can never truly escape his violent past or the dangerous world of loan sharks, druggies, and other bottom-feeders.

The movie is directed by William Monahan making his first directorial debut.The cast is extra-ordinary. The movie has action romance and drama in it. Although it is not perfectly balanced film but still it is worth watching.

Golmaal 3 (2010)

Its full of gags and jokes

This movie is 2 and a half hour of total entertainment.

It is the common thought that sequels are not as good as the original ones, but Golmaal 3 breaks this norm and comes out to be a great movie. Everyone in the movie did a great job, especially the psycho look of Gopal(Ajay Devgan) was very funny. More over the witty character of Daboo was beautifully portrayed by Kareen Kapoor. Mithun Chakraborty as Pritam also did play a very nice role. Now moving to downside, the movie shows a lot of over acting and some time one feel a bit uneasy.Tushaar Kapoor playing the mute Lucky character sometimes seem boring repetition. Over all it is a movie which will hit the audience who are interested in no-brainer and full of gags comedy. So the movie is not a must-watch but if you have nothing to do and want to kill your time ,go see this movie.

Action Replayy (2010)

A desperate attempt to re-make 'Back to the future'

At first once i saw the movie's trailer I thought it was a great movie but soon my illusion faded away when i saw the whole thing. Cast of the movie is great. We have Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar as a parents of Bunty played by Aditya Roy Kapoor. He also did a nice job but the story seems very Shallow. All those who have seen 'Back to the Future' I strictly advise them not to watch it because comparing to Robert Zemeckis Epic master piece it is very boring. The story goes like this....There is boy(Aditya)who don't want to marry because he thinks that he will end up as his parents. His girl friend's(Sudeepa Singh) grand father (Randhir Kapoor) is a scientist who have invented a time machine. Now Bunty goes to the past to mend the life of his parents and got succeeded. In this ROM-com we can easily sense a lot of over-acting. So over all my rating of the movie is 2/5.
