Hail Satan? (2019)
I'm only 20 minutes in
,but I just think think that the phrasing of "decided to be a satanist" is a little...off
Undercover Brother 2 (2019)
It's something.
The movie's not good by any means, but I feel like it's a fun, satirical look into some of the more absurd aspects of American culture
Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers (2018)
I cannot rate this "documentary"
I was steered towards this movie by a compelling podcast, but after 20 minutes it had to be stopped. This is not being written to discredit Bob Lazar; moreso it seemed that the director was creating his own narrative. The opening was hokey because he felt it necessary to reenact a conversation, over text, with the subject. (It kind of felt like the opening of an acting reel.) Then he is talking to a source through speaker and, for some reason, he uses two camera angles (not to mention the fact that when Lazar is being interviewed the director is absurdly present).
Rocketman (2019)
Damn good, but a bit taxing.
It doesn't skimp on the nitty gritty, but towards the end it does become a bit too much and the story structure is a kind of jarring...
