Sonny with a Chance (2009)
Why is it that Disney stars are all from Texas?
I don't get it and they promote their "Texas life" to the public. I love Demi but it seems like Demi was only picked because she was, you know, from Texas. Tiffany was, and most other stars were, except maybe three or four.
Anyway, my rant is over. SWAC is not the best show ever, but it doesn't contain a secret like all the other shows. It has realism, but it most certainly doesn't have comedy in the sketches. The sketches on the show are supposedly the funniest things about it. I just think that the sketches are dumb and unneeded. Gassie? Disney's run out of ideas.
I also think that Disney needs a show that has no shallow characters and none that are stereotyped.
Bolt (2008)
This Movie is True Disney
After all the complaints on the "new" Disney, this movie truly shows how exhilarating yet breathtaking and beautiful Walt Disney intended his films to be.
Many think this movie may look bad, but for it coming out on my birthday and it being the best movie EVER, It's a tearjerker that I'm going to see again.
Many parts of the movie look cheesy, and stupid, but you just need to understand them, that's all. See the movie and they become heartfelt and funny.
So get your tissues and plop on the couch and get ready for the best animated experience you've ever had!
Transformers (2007)
Really Good if you like action films-and are a romantic
I love action films, but this kinda made me really sick in the stomach at parts...
For instance, when Megan Fox is saying "I'm glad I got in that car with you," So much is going on behind them I thought Shia LeBouf would get swooped up by one of the robots.
It's high action, and is incredibly realistic, and the details rock. But some parts just weren't needed and weren't necessary, kind of like the one above. Sure he likes her, but that was in the middle of a scene with the robots above them. I mean, that scene was THEIRS. They could have used it differently...(screenwriters fault)...Shia could have just been swooped up and Megan comes to save him, or vice versa. Too bad they just run off to whoknowswhere...
Anyway, if you like these romance scenes in high action movies this is for you. Otherwise, don't watch this because there are plenty more scenes like that throughout the movie...and they are longer.
Saved by the Bell: The College Years (1993)
Very Surprising at Some Parts...
It whips you around a lot, otherwise great. In the end of the series Zack and Kelly get married, which you don't expect to happen that much, but it does, and throws you off track to the whole show. All those times they fought, Zack cheated on her, you'd think she'd remember that... Lisa and Jessie come for the wedding, which is the nicest part. I missed them from JH and high school.:)
An introduction to new characters Leslie and Alex happens, for these two characters are the new college dorm mates to Kelly. They're a nice addition but will NEVER replace Lisa and Jessie, which is what the show must have tried to do. Actually, in the beginning another girl is in Kelly's spot, whom Zack meets first. She's in for the first TCYs episode then is never seen again. In a way she resembles Lisa, and I don't think they even mentioned her name:/
Kelly comes in on the second episode, her appearance was kind of predictable. You knew how upset they were to leave each other for college, so she "had" to come. I'm surprised that Zack didn't end up with Leslie who would have been a pretty good match for him in the end.
A.C. Slater comes along to the same college as Zack, along with Screech. A.C. begins dating Alex, while Leslie is left alone in the dark. I don't think Jessie was nice to Slater AT ALL. She always called him a sexist pig, or something else in every HS episode...and Alex is exactly the same way. In one episode she demands Slater to be Peter Pan when she is Tinkerbell and everything goes wrong, and she can't even forgive him for switching costumes when he didn't know she had... it's rude how she treats him all the time, what with her ordering around.
A.C. loses his first wrestling match in college so easily he promises to SCREECH to keep THE SECRET-there IS NO SECRET about that! It's gonna get out so don't tell the person who leaked so many lies not to tell anyone! And he's always been the toughie but his reputation is fresh in college, the only people who know about it are Kelly, Zack, and Screech, 3 out of probably 3000 people at the college. If those three were real friends they would not tell anyone anything.
Zack's mean pranks, such as when he has to collect some quiz for doing a prank, is just rude(he promises a fake trip to Hawaii for the picked winner). Michael tries his best to set this guy straight, but HELLO. You are dealing with ZACK MORRIS! Plus Michael isn't such a gem either, asking Screech for everything, and complaining about all of his troubles to the college students. At one time Zack tries to have a rave for making up for one of his pranks and paints Michael's dorm BLACK. He takes advantage of everyone and isn't even that handsome.
Well, I've said enough, this show can be funny at points but look deep down and see kids just scheming their way out of trouble and taking advantage of everyone and everything to get what they want.
Saved by the Bell (1989)
A good show
There's a lot that might happen in this show and that's the best part; it twists and turns, like at the episode where Kelly and Zack get married. There's also a lot of struggle while they're in high school, but the realism of this show is at a minimum.
The entertainment is good for thirty minutes, and this is probably a good show for its time. There's a lot about it that makes it different; it's unlike HSM, where High School is totally perfect, no worries at all, and it takes practically real high school kids and makes them have a story, and even though their journey isn't realistic, it's interesting to see what will happen next, and it'll hook you on it.
