Track of the Moon Beast (1976)
Paul Isn't Paul Anymore!
Pure 70's cheese from beginning to end! Jonnie Longbow our Navajo University Professor is a true pleasure. Paul our tragic hero is a real 70's lunkhead whose just dying to take his shirt off. He lives with his mom and just occasionally turns into a man-sized reptile who feels the need to tear people's arms off and beat them with them. Kathy is our scantily clad day glow wearing starlet who of course falls madly in love with the aforementioned 70's reptile boy Paul. People start dying and the bulky meat-head Sheriff is puzzled. Being a bulky meat-head he decides to enlist Jonnie Longbow's help, together the two try to get to the bottom of the murders. There is a cameo performance from "the Folk Trio Who Sang California Lady", which of course is spellbinding to say the least. Will Paul's secret be discovered? Will Kathy ever find love? Will Jonnie Longbow ever stop telling Navajo fables? Find out when you watch "Track of the Moon Beast". I highly recommend it.
2012: Doomsday (2008)
awesome!
This movie is the most hilarious movie I've seen since "the Omega Code",and that is saying a lot. Ed Wood himself could not have made this movie any better! The perfect combination of a ridiculous premise, bad dialog, bad acting, low budget and no continuity to boot. A Mayan temple that must be reached for no apparent reason. A missionary working in Mexico who can't speak Spanish with her voyeuristic counterpart and his giant camera. A panic-ed paramedic and her spooky mother. A Indiana Jones wannabe and his estranged wife with a weird accent. A some doofus whose supposed to be working for an unknown government agency in what looks like office suite you'd rent at Kinkos overlooking the entire mess. The Lord is laughing at "Doomday 2012"! Laugh out loud, doubled over, gasping for breathe hilarity. I highly recommend this film. Warning: your stomach muscles will hurt for two days after viewing "Doomsday 2012".
