The movie starts out with a 25 year old 16 year old teenager babbling nonsense with his 30 year old mom who looked the same age as him. Lots of typical teen stereotypes with not much else. I made 30 minutes and it wasn't easy.

What ruined it for me

I only want to comment on one thing and that is most of the characters whispering their lines at inappropriate times. It is irritating beyond all belief. Mr. Robinson is the worst offender as he whispers in a harsh voice like he has a sore throat.

An interesting concept and it kept my attention until the third episode when I realized the Punisher was whispering all of his lines. I know this is a technique that actors and directors seem to think adds emotion but to me all it does it seem fake and unreal. People do not go around whispering in real life.

Do not be fooled by the ratings

All of the 7 plus ratings have to be from cast, crew and friends because this movie is terrible beyond all belief. It must have been shot on a cell phone, has no acting that I could detect, no story, no redeeming values and no nothing. It is a true 0 rated movie. I was tricked into watching it by the Amazon and IMDb ratings but never again.
If you want to watch bad movies there are many so bad they are good ones but this is not one of them.
This one will make you wish you had never existed.
As always no offense to the makers of this train wreck.

Star Trek

I wanted to like this movie but....

I love all things Star Trek don't so get me wrong. I have every one of the movies on DVD or VHS and have watched them all so many times they may soon be worn out. Let me comment on this movie.
I gave it all of one star mainly because of the utterly crappy camera work and the excess use of special effects. We have the MTV style of jumpy camera work and jerking from one scene to the other so fast you might lose your lunch when viewing it not even to mention the confusing overlay camera effects. The story and characters are decent but the photography destroys any attempt of the actors to make a decent movie. The other Star Treks relied mainly on the characters and the story and not confusing camera work and second rate special effects which is why I love them.
Sorry to say but what could have been a great movie was utterly destroyed by the director or whoever was in charge of the the photography. I will just continue to watch my old Star Treks.
