An actual teen movie...

This is the first teen movie where all the actors actually are and/or look like teens. If you are looking for a movie with "American Pie" humor, then continue searching, because this movie can not compete with "American Pie" humor. Don't get me wrong, I am not an "American Pie" fan but those movies are WAY more funny then this one.

This movie does not have any exaggerated scenes, everything you see could have happened for real. So don't expect any "Scary Movie" scenarios.

There are a few funny lines that I will never forget, like this one "Searching for a good girlfriend is like searching for a good used car, if the oil smells funny, there is something wrong with the vehicle." I gave this movie a 6 because I didn't laugh once. I smiled a couple of times but that's it. This is not the movie you want to buy, rent it, and only if you like high-school-movies.

Iron Man (2008)

Iron Man 2?

This is a really good movie. Good acting, good visuals, very good audio, etc... The only negative thing you can say about the movie that it doesn't have a lot of action. I think that there will be an Iron Man 2. Now that everyone knows Iron Man ( because I never heard about it before the movie ) more people will be interested if and when they release the sequel. And in the sequel they can skip all the engineering and show some good action. I look at this movie as a preview of what is to come...

Everyone who writes negative reviews about this movie just didn't get what they've expected. I think that the majority of these writers love the comic and the movie just didn't satisfy them. But every objective reviewer will give this movie at least a 7/10.

Great family-movie :)

The rating on IMDb is so low and I don't understand why. Granted, this movie is not as funny as the nutty professor movies but it did made me laugh every now and then and I am not easily amused :) The acting, music, camera-views are all OK. The special effects are better then I expected. The explosions are realistic and the "honey I shrunk the kids" effect is also pretty good.

This is a movie that will make you laugh while watching it with friends and/or family. You wont fall of your seat, but you will be smiling the entire time.

This movie deserves a 7.5, that's why I am giving it a 10, to boost the overall rating a little bit. Watch it and please rate it, because the current rating is WAY to low.

I gave this movie an 8/10. Simply because this is a good movie...IF you watch it with the right expectations. If you don't like amazing surround-audio, amazing editing, amazing race/action-scenes and some humor here and there, don't watch it.

If you like "The Fast and the Furious" movies, then you will like this one as well, even though the story isn't all that great and the actors aren't well known. The surround-effects and the camera-viewpoints really are amazing.

The entire movie is pretty realistic. Well, it's not really, but you can always say "I guess some people can actually do those tricks". Only the last scene has horrible special-effects, the last scene looks more like a game-cut-scene then a real action-movie.

The rating on IMDb is not justified. This movie was recorded for a target audience. People who love race/action movies. If you don't like those, don't watch it, and if you did watch this one, don't rate it.

Blackout (III) (2007)

Blackout is a movie about the blackout in New York that happened a couple of years ago. The movie provides a realistic image of what happened during the blackout and what could happen if you ever encounter a blackout in a similar neighborhood. The only reason why the viewer rating is not 8+ is because most people expect another violent gangster movie and it isn't. Watch this if you feel like watching New York reality-TV. The camera-views are good, the acting is very good and the sound is fine. The sound/music could use some tweaking here and there but it's not going to change the way you experience the movie.

Everyone should watch this movie. Even if the topic doesn't interest you, the movie will have an effect on you and how you will react if similar problems occur in your life.
