Rick and Morty: That's Amorte (2023)
Really i don't need this show in my life
Unfortunately, this series, which was originally very much about science fiction and space in a zany atmosphere, has turned more and more towards zany morbidity. Not a single episode goes by without people being sliced, torn, crushed or vomiting into each other's mouths.
The series is now a hodgepodge of predictable content from beginning to end, and laughable complements that even the early episodes tend to mock.
We could - for example - make a whole Vindicator sarcastic episode (season 3) about what Rick and Morty is now.
It has become what it denounced. In short, I don't need this in my life.
Foundation: In Seldon's Shadow (2023)
Excessive depiction of violence
I'm ok with nudity and sex but not with the excessive depiction of violence.
It overshows the aim to go with impressive graphic content at low cost while special effects could have been used elsewhere in this episode, thus making scenes with needed special effects for the science show it is are way too neglected.
Also the episode could have come with a reminder of what happened in the last season or a smoother transition because after one year it is hard to remember where we left at. This make that spectators have to watch back the previous episode from last season.
Overall pretty much deceived for such a long wait.
