Minecraft Dungeons (2020)
W Game imo
Minecraft Dungeons is a canon spinoff game to the hit game Minecraft. The game follows an illager named Archie who finds an orb (cube) called the Orb of Dominance, which gives him rule of the rest of the illagers. The illagers raid the land, catching the attention of the player (in the story). The player defeats monstrosities and allies to the Arch-Illager before defeating the little illager, enraging the Orb, and subsequently the Heart of Ender. The Orb is shattered, sending 4 shards across the overworld. The player destroys these shards in the DLC's. In the final DLC, Echoing Void, the player must fight and destroy the remaining shards, now forged into a semi complete Orb. The Orb creating a new physical body, the Vengeful Heart of Ender. The game is a dungeon crawler. It is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC. Though the base game is rather short, the DLC's expand the length. The game is not perfect, nothing is, but it is an amazing spinoff that is canon to Minecraft Legends and the original Minecraft.
Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)
Five Nights at Freddy's, is this where you want to be? WARNING! HEAVY SPOILERS AHEAD!
Five Nights at Freddy's is a horror movie that is based on the game series of the same name. It is written by Scott Cawthon and a few others and is produced by Jason Blum while also being directed by Emma Tammi. The film follows Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson) who takes the role of Security Guard at the old Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, after getting fired from his old job. On his second night he meets Vanessa Shelly (Elizabeth Lail), a cop who knows a bit too much about Freddy's. On his third night, he brings his younger sister, Abby (Piper Rubio), to the pizzeria. He falls asleep on the job as usual and has the same, reoccurring nightmare about when his brother, Garrett (Lucas Grant), was abducted by a mysterious man. On his final night, Mike has to race to save Abby from becoming one of them. He is helped by Vanessa but she reveals who she truly is, and who the man that abducted Garrett and murdered the five kids was William Afton, her father. Mike stops the animatronics from hurting Abby briefly before William Afton (Matthew Lillard), in the SpringBonnie spring lock suit that he murdered the kids in, arrives and fights Mike. He tries to get Abby but is stopped by Vanessa, who he then stabs. While he deals with Vanessa though, Abby draws a picture to show the animatronics that William is the bad man who hurt them. The animatronics turn on William and the Cupcake bites at the suit, exposing the spring locks. The spring locks snap shut on William and he yells "I always come back!" before falling to the ground where he is then dragged away. Mike and Abby visit Vanessa in the hospital and the movie ends there. Overall, Five Nights at Freddy's is a great horror film with jumpscare's, comedy, shocking reveals and fan service for all the Fnaf nerds. The movie might not be for everybody and that's fine, but this is a movie that I wholeheartedly loved. 10/10 would recommend.
Lightyear (2022)
Not bad but nothing groundbreaking
I really enjoyed this movie and I like how Pixar tried to make a more mature movie. People always criticise this movie but I don't see why. At the core, it has themes of letting go of the past and moving forward. It also deals with the themes that trying to complete one goal can overtake one's mind and send them into insanity. A common line of criticism about the villain is that they didn't make Zurg be the father of Buzz. But let's be fair, if he was his father then it wouldn't have been a twist or surprise like in Star Wars as the line was said as a Star Wars reference in Toy Story 2. The visuals are pleasing to the eye and you can see detail after detail in each scene. Sure, some things don't quite work but overall, it's a fairly good movie that is over hated.
You Are Special (2000)
Hated this but also loved it.........
I saw this because my teacher put it on for the class and everyone hated it but also loved it at the same time. We hated the animation and the character designs as well as the sounds and the voices weren't heard in some spots. However, everyone loved this mini movie. The plot is simple with a small wooden character who is covered with grey spots. He goes to find Eli, his creator. It's got a great story and message for the target audience, little kids, and is entertaining for all ages. This has no right to be this good and bad but it is. I, and many others love this movie and hate it but you know what I'm going to give it? A solid 10/10. Would highly recommend.
Descendants 3 (2019)
Liked one part
Terrible consistency, story and reasons for other things happening. For example, the villain justifying her reason for doing what she did is just "I wanted it so I took it." The only part I liked was this one scene in the middle of the film where the protagonists fight a bunch of guards but it turned so goofy and me and my friends were making jokes about the scene. The best joke we made was "When there is a school fight and the popular kid gets involved with his followers". My problems with is movie are: Lame writing, terrible characters and character development, bad jokes, inconsistent, story is bad, cgi is terrible, songs dragged on, bad songs in general, useless meandering, no stakes, and no tension.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022)
Purfect
This is an amazing family movie with a great animation style like the style from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse. The characters are well developed throughout the movie. There constant fear of death from Puss in the movie. There is a wolf who is death is a terrifying antagonist who may scare some children. Puss feels like he has the constant need to hide his fear as he is on his last life. Goldilocks and The Three Bears are antagonists while they search for the star which will grant one wish. Goldilocks and The Three Bears help Puss, Kitty Softpaws and Parito when the 6 realise they already have their wishes granted. After this, all six stop Big Jack Horner from granting his wish to have all the magic in the world. Puss defeats Death by instating that he is no longer afraid.
