Job Guys (2020)
Fun watching these boneheads get into trouble
Short fun series that doesn't disappoint. Dors a good job shaking up each episode and makes good use of the limited budget. I would recommend watching all of it.
Joker (2019)
Beautifully Depressing
Joker was beautifully depressing like a Street Car Named Desire. It was by no means a Super hero film which I loved about it. Rather than formulaic dog shit, it actually did something different, dirty, grimy and succeeded in being hopelessly dark, captivating and Phoenix was brilliant. This is definitely the darkest Joker you will ever see and reminds me of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, The Tenant and Requiem for a Dream mixed with a Scorcesse/Tarantino Pizazz.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
A Tarantino Film is like a Hanzo sword. It can only be compared to other Hanzo swords.
Tarantino at his best, in rare form. Dicaprio and Pitt acted their faces off. Its funny smart and original in a world of remakes and comic book films. A true new Masterpiece.
Animalium (2017)
Awesome film, vicious and gentle
It is definitely a horror movie through and through even though there is no real gore. We see the inner workings of the Human ID and question our own humanity as one brother confesses his many murders to his younger brother and the younger brother must confront his own beliefs.
It was directed masterfully as the actors were both spot on, sometimes have very long takes. The cinematography gave a sense of isolation. Recommended
