Good plot, poor screenplay and directing.
10 May 2023
Mary Hogue doesn't make sense, she doesn't understand what church is or marriage means, script poorly written, Zody roll absolutely rediculous and doesn't apply. In my opinion the publisher just published it without reading the script. The plot is good and this could have been a great movie. Too bad low budgeting didn't allow professional directors, script play or screenplay personal. Armature night is the correct term for this movie. I'm sorry but being that this is Hollywood material you would expect professional appearance. If this movie would be re-played with modern day actors that could carry a conversation without wives tale remarks, no cursing, no nudity, it would be one of the best.

Too many inaccuracies!
21 August 2022
Purely fictional movie. Yes the movie is for entertainment purposes and I enjoyed the movie but when John Ford stated he spoke to Wyatt Earp in person to get the truth leads me to wonder if Ford is being honest. Why? The brother age format is all wrong, clementine is never mentioned with Doc Holiday or Wyatt in history documents, At the OK Coral shooting it doesn't show Virgil being present. Virgil never died until old age, neither did James. Doc Holiday didn't die at the shooting. James was the eldest then Virgil, then Wyatt then Morgan. No documentation of Ike Clayton being at the ok corral fight or having 4 sons. History says 2 McCollary brothers, Billy Clinton and Billy Clayborne we're on one side. Wyatt, Virgil, Morgan Earp and Doc on the other side. So Fords interview with Fonda claiming he spoke to Wyatt and got the truth about the Ok coral shooting is a lie. The only female acquaintance of Doc Holiday mention in historical records was Big nose Kate. So many inaccuracies in one movie leads me to believe Ford lied for financial gain. Very unfortunate because Ford directed a lot of good movies, especially with John Wayne head actor.

Bad directing
21 August 2022
Too many unrealistic scenes. I realize it's a movie for entertainment but the unrealistic scenes make the actor look bad. Example; Randolph fights the Sheriff on a horse, ends up fighting the horse instead of the man. This is far from being realistic. These short scenes are examples of uneducated and misinformed directors. Randolph Scott isn't the only unlucky western star mislead.

Clean movie and fun to watch.

Can't watch this movie on Roku devices because it's too clean. Actually I can list several movies that Roku claims you can watch but not available. Monopoly.
