Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies (2022)
They should have hired a different actress this one was awful.
Casey Anthonys forced tears and concern for her own appearance make this a hard series to choke down. It's so scripted I don't know why anyone would buy her account of anything. It makes you wonder how long she was practicing her overly dramatic speeches and tears in the mirror.
I recommend watching it through the Behavioral Panel on YouTube, they see right through her bs. And it was far more interesting than this series.
I have no idea why they gave her any air time, and based on other reviews, I hope she doesn't think she will get to assimilate back into society after this. It did her no favors.
Rip to that sweet baby.
The Curse of Oak Island (2014)
Ask me one more question and I swear to god
I like this show a lot, it's entertaining enough. But the narrator with his constant rhetorical questions with every find and voice inflections drive me absolutely nuts.
Alaskan Killer Bigfoot (2021)
The cheese is just a guilty pleasure at this point.
The history is cool, although there are plenty of debates on whether it's even real history. Don't expect anything other than just entertainment. It's fun and it's sparked great conversations with my kids.
The guys are clearly reading scripts and sometimes it's super flat which makes it even funnier. I'm half expecting one of them to accidentally say "what was that noise, acts scared". Lots of "look over there", Blair Witch style movie magic. We are definitely going to keep watching it, like moths to the dumpster fire flame, because it's just entertaining.
