Castle Crashers (2008)
My View on Castle Crashers
After playing this game, I enjoyed it very much, though nowadays there are some things that I wish were changed about the game. I would like to start off with the final princess, as I was completely dumbstruck that she was a clown after I went for the kiss after wrapping up the final level of the game. And in terms of the characters, there is a lot of diversity in that, as well as the animal companions and weapons featured throughout the game. I do think, however, there could be more than just 4 different colored knights serving the King, as I would like to see a yellow knight, a black knight, or maybe a gold, silver, or copper-colored one. Those would probably be interesting characters in the game, as well as more different enemies to combat. Another thing that I think I would change is the addition of aliens and UFOs, as I DO feel that they were unnecessary and didn't have any place in a game that takes place during medieval times. For the most part the game is really great, but in the final levels of the game I would like to go up against just the Necromancer and the Evil Wizard, as I feel that fighting the Necromancer 3 times before facing the Wizard would be more exciting, though it would be difficult. IF the game were to be rebooted, then I think that the campaign should stay the same, but with some new features to it, and if this were to happen, then I would like to hear characters, besides just the princesses, speak throughout the game, and I would like to see subtitles in the game with the reason being that anytime I play a video game where someone speaks a different language it annoys me when I can't understand what's being said. Another feature that I would like to see if there were to be a reboot of the game is being able to create my own knight to play as, plus being able to customize that character and their features, as well as their shield, magic abilities, weapons, horses, and animal companions, well as being able to ride horses into battle or during journeys. And I would like to be able to create my own faction for free play, such as team battles or other events, all of which I think would make a reboot all the more interesting. Should a Castle Crashers reboot ever come to fruition, then I hope that everything I stated will be taken into account for something such as that.
The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue (1998)
My View on Secret of NIMH 2
After watching the movie I thought that it wasn't horrible, it was just done incorrectly. However, I'm pretty sure that people will half-agree with me, as they would very much say the movie was done BOTH horribly and incorrectly. I can pretty much see why most people, both fans of the original Secret of NIMH and critics, dislike this movie, and in some ways I agree with them. It's clear that this sequel isn't very accurate, but if the producers wanted to continue with this direction then I will say that the movie would probably be better without the songs as they do feel unnecessary, but if they were to stick more to the stories in which the first movie is based off of then this would be a completely different story. However, it is a relief that the mice and rats who were lost during the escape from NIMH survived, right? But if the producers were to continue in the direction they planned when they released the movie, then the animation could be much better, just like most of the great 2-d animated movies of the 1990s. If any studio were to try and reboot the movie by making sure that they aligned with the novels, then I do believe that the movie could redeem itself where it failed back then.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (2016)
My View on Call of Duty: IW
After playing the game, I felt that the game wasn't horrible, but the world in which the game takes place and multiplayer leave a little bit to be desired. For example, for a game that takes place in the year 2187, you would think that any and all vehicles would move completely through hover technology instead of wheels. And the fact that some of the weapons in the game have ballistic ammo, you might expect all weapons in the game to have laser ammo in order to keep in touch with the fact that this game takes place in the far future, since in the future ballistics would be highly primitive. Now regarding the world in which the game takes place, I watched a video on YouTube about the world of the game didn't work, and one of the questions asked was how the Settlement Defense Front was able to compete with the Earth, especially when the planet is united together. It was also said in the video that the story Infinite Warfare told has been told before, so I do think that the story in the game could be told completely differently. In regards to multiplayer, it could use some improvements, like I do think that it would be interesting to fight somewhere in space, and I do think that a lot of the weapon features in the campaign would make multiplayer just a little bit more interesting, as well as more killstreak options to choose from. And regarding aerial combat in the campaign, why can't we have that in multiplayer too? It might be far-fetched, but I suppose I think that another feature that would make multiplayer more interesting is allowing players to do aerial combat in multiplayer as well. Who wouldn't want to fly a Skelter for the UNSA, or a Jackal for the SDF, while also being able to customize their aircraft with their own paint jobs and nose art, as well as being able to choose their loadouts? While Call of Duty has rebooted the Modern Warfare series, I wouldn't be surprised if they reboot Infinite Warfare in the future as well, and if they did then hopefully it will be a much better update on the original game.
Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge (2023)
My View on HW:UC
After watching the first season, I was impressed with the creativity displayed on the show, but I do think that for next season it could use some improvements. I felt that just selecting 3 finalists for the finale wasn't enough hype for the final challenge on the show. Is there not enough room for a 4th garage in the finale? Another matter relating to this is that for next season I suggest that after 8 contestants have won their matches, there be a semifinals then 4 contestants to compete in the finale. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a celebrity edition of the show in the future, but it's very unlikely. Regarding this first season, I feel that in just a couple of episodes of the show the judges should've paid more attention to which vehicles had Hot Wheels-esque features, and it's those vehicles that should've been the winners. Also, in terms of the winners for the matches, I saw silhouettes in each of the 8 squares, then after a match ended the picture of the winner who matched that silhouette appeared, so I'm thinking that the producers predicted who would win each match on the show. I think that this should all be taken into consideration should HW:UC get any future seasons or special editions.
The Rescuers Down Under (1990)
My View on Rescuers Down Under
Out of the 2 movies in the Rescuers franchise, I think that Down Under one is a little better than the 1st one. However, based on the fact that Eva Gabor died in 1995 and John Candy in 1994, I think that because Disney planned to create the 3rd Rescuers movie in 1996, they probably should've decided to create the movie 3 years earlier so that the franchise could've become a trilogy and that there could've been a movie for each of the 10 years of the Disney Renaissance. I guess that if Gabor would've wanted to have a final film role, it would be Miss Bianca. While I definitely think that Rescuers Down Under is somewhat better than the original Rescuers movie and that there's some things about both films that are better, I think that the setting that the 2nd movie takes place in is much more impressive than that of the 1st movie and the animation quality is pretty good for being the 1st full digital feature film to be created. It definitely impressed me even though it didn't have much success at the box office when it came out in theaters but I'd like to say that I wish that the movie was a little bit longer than the first one.
