Retfærdighedens ryttere (2020)
Woah
I have never seen anything like this where all the characters have a lead role. Every narrative intertwines with the next and the ending is awe invoking.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
I have seen this 5 times
I have seen this five times and give it a star for each time I have seen it because each time I saw it I liked it a tad bit more. But all in all, right now, I would say that it's defiantly worth watching.
Hell Is Empty (2021)
seriously interesting
Ya ya ya its poorly made, most independent movies are but what we got here is a very interesting concept with lots of gore. The acting isnt oscar worthy, what Bfilms are? If you like movies about cults, gore and woodlife gone wrong you might get Hell Is Empty.
Katie Says Goodbye (2016)
Get your kleenex
Instantly you feel a caring towards Katie. Seeing what she endures and how she gets out had me in tears for i know so many women who have endured similar yet very different. Her mother is one of many. A must watch.
Inherent Vice (2014)
Worth watching but claustrophopic
One feels as if they are trapped in this claustrophobic hippy world. Reminds me of the Big Lebowski, b in the Big L one gets away from the one dimensionality of it all. The characters are very well developed and played.
Get Low (2009)
Charming
"Get Low" is a charming tale about a hermit who just wants to be left alone and in order to do so he has to fake his own funereal. An event that will require the help from a shady operation funereal director splendidly played by Bill Murray.
Black Mass (2015)
Would have given this a 9 or 10
Would have given this a 9 or 10 but Johnny Depps wig kept moving and i found it distracting. His acting though is stellar. I was wondering when some one would be brave enough to address the topic of the Bulger, too bad they didn't get in a lot deeper.
The Power of the Dog (2021)
Best show on Netflix since "The Queens Gambit"
I was just about to cancel my subscription and low and behold Netflix finally gave a another gem.
Review by Thom Gier explaones it better then any other reviewer.
"The film, based on Thomas Savage's 1967 novel and set in 1925 Montana, focuses on two rancher brothers who become increasingly estranged after the younger (Jesse Plemmons) marries a widow (Kirsten Dunst) with a nearly grown son who's studying to be a surgeon (Kodi Smit-McPhee). The older brother, a hard-charging rancher played by Benedict Cumberbatch, is witheringly cruel to both his sister-in-law (who turns increasingly to alcohol to numb her anxiety) and her son, whom he mocks as a "sissy" boy while encouraging the other ranch hands to join in the abuse.
But young Peter has a trick or two up his sleeve - and he manages to exact his revenge in a subtle way that is devastating in its understatement and true to his quiet, watchful character." -Thom Gier.
Sharp Objects (2018)
The ole Mother and daughter relationship on herion.
The power dynamics are so well played out in this series. Director Jean-Marc Vallee paid attention to every detail. The screenwriter gave a banquette of meat on the dialogue for the actors to really sink their teeth into. Amy Adams plays the reporter Daughter with understated power while Patricia Clarkson gives her devastatingly most brilliant performance.
Thirteen (2016)
Would have made a powerful film
Would have made a powerful film, instead they stretched this story out to last way beyond necessary. Well played out amongst the actors. Uncomfortable for all the wrong reasons with too much detail on, well if you have seen it you know what im talking about. Creepy for all the wrong reasons.
Red Sparrow (2018)
Jennifer Lawrence was outstanding
A detailed look into the trade of creating assassins from youth till their death. A very dark feel to this film, but I'm sure in real life that it is this bleak and void of joy. Jennifer Lawrence was outstanding as we could see her holding her emotions in.
Girl Next (2021)
Smart film for those who can handle it.
A tough film to watch, nerveless worth getting through the difficult visuals. I understand why many would turn away from "Girl Next" and other films from the horror genre that delve into the delirium tremens on how and why sex slavery happens and how it is still able to hide in the shadows. A well made indie that pays homage to previous films dealing with mental and physical slavery.

Silent Cry: The Darker Side of Trafficking (2020)
NO graphic details yet able to honestly explain
NO graphic details yet able to honestly explain how this horror is able to happen world wide. Mandatory viewing for all parents. Yes its a tough pill to swallow, but we need to go there are a civilization and eradicate this torture.
Eden (2012)
Important indie film
An in-depth peek into one story of how the sex slave industry is able to function. Mandatory viewing for anyone looking into this topic. Thankfully we are looking at this topic more. The acting is heart breaking an real.
Bloodline (2015)
Important drama about a families deeply rooted dysfunction.
Important drama about a families deeply rooted dysfunction. What I personally loved about the "Bloodline" series was a deep look into the underbelly of the Florida Keys.
Hunters (2020)
I was looking for this to go deep
And it didn't go deep into , shall o say, the more conspiratorial aspect. Al Pacino's performance was an old school mockery of an angry Jewish man and the story didn't have enough meat or reason. I felt it didn't go into the true history to justify such behavior. Other then that it was well filmed and the script had great dialogue.
Top of the Lake (2013)
Elizabeth Moss picked a winner script.
This series is so griping. At the end of each episode you are given so much information only to be led down a rabbit hole of true intrigue and a need to keep watching. "Top Of The Lake" is Elizabeth Moss' best series role to date, even more so then bridesmaid which got so lost by the second series.
