Senke nad Balkanom (2017)
A right turn on the crossroads for Serbian production
Before this show came along, Serbian production was mostly centered on family dramedies in the form of telenovelas. Bjelogrlic did something special when he came up with Black Sun. Not only did he raise the bar, he also fueled the production of other awesome Serbian production tv shows( Beleznica profesora Miskovica and Kalkanski Krugovi being a prime example). As for the show itself, it focuses on political games and underground of post-WWI Belgrade and Yugoslavia. It's not historically accurate but it's interesting take on the history of Balkan Peninsula. Show is full of awesome, believable plot-twists, interesting characters(the main trio is just superb) and the production values are equal to HBO, Netflix... Some of these big corps should give a lot of money to Bjelogrlic because he showed here that he can make a captivating, interesting, quality tv-show with not that much money. Just imagine what he can do with a true big budget.
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Absolute delight
4 hours have passed like it was a minute. Everything that was bad about the sacrilege that was Josstice League(2017) was corrected here. Music sent shivers down my spine and was genuinely great, acting was so believable and I liked the dynamic between characters, most notably Cyborg/Flash and Batman/WW (WonderBat is a thing ). Story was great, glad to see that Cyborg got justice and this movie has the most likeable villain out of every team-up superhero movie so far(excluding IW Thanos, they're on the same level). This is a movie that brings out both laughter and tears, a movie that has a heart and a deeper message and deserves nothing below 9 and 10.
Snyder is the MAN for this job and here's for hoping they'll #RestoreTheSnyderverse
Dara iz Jasenovca (2020)
One of the best and saddest movies I've ever watched
This movie marks the first time that the story of Jasenovac martyrs is told to wide masses. Based on survivors' accounts, Dara from Jasenovac shows us just how much the Serbs suffered just because they were Serbs of Orthodox Christianity. It is sad, yes, but for anyone who wants to see the truth about Serbian people, this is one of the movies to watch. Not to mention that the actors, production, scenery and basically everything is top-notch. 10/10 from me. Never forget the martyrs from Jasenovac
